Seahaven Beach Hotel Panama City Beach

Seahaven is ideal if you are going to stay as a couple or even a small family. Be ready for a great beach-front location with immediate access to the beach! You will need to take your own chairs, towels & umbrellas for the beach; it costs $$$ to rent chairs & umbrellas. Free parking & coffee was a plus. The downside was that the motel/hotel is quite outdated with some updates needing completed, such as modern tubs, outlets, more secure doors, etc. Also would’ve been helpful to have daily room service & fresh towels provided instead of having to be traded into the front desk.

The rooms were nice and the view was great. Good walking distance from a few restaurants and shops. However, the outdoor trashes were always full and we did not have towels when we finally got checked in. The pool was decent (heated too) and the walk to the beach was very short. No cameras on premises (a friends luggage was stolen).

Room was not ready. Pool was green. Elevator didn't work. Not enough parking had to park across street. Entire building needs work

If you want convience by the beach, and to save few dollars , stay here. Would not recommend staying here for comfort. Rooms are very outdated, no coffee pot, televisions barely worked, and balcony is very unstable. To get towels, you have to travel across the parking lot to access from the office. Parking is crazy, have to park across the street due to heavy flow of traffic.

The pool couldnt be used because of algae and chemicals. The elevator was broke. My wife is handicapped but luckily we received a room that didn't require the elevator but people without handicap plates or tags kept parking in the few handicap parking spots. Told the office multiple times but nothing ever done

This is a pretty good property for its age and location. Staff was super helpful. The only downside is lack of trolleys for luggage, parking availability that’s convenient to the rooms and having to bring our linens to the office. The business center computer internet cuts off internet every few minutes and the printer is offline. These things made it a little frustrating but other than that we enjoyed everything else especially the beach views.

Checked in Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning The elevator was broken and down for the remainder of our stay. Checked out Monday morning. We had 2 disabled persons in our party making it difficult for them. Thankfully we were on the first floor was able to deal with it otherwise we would’ve had to find another hotel last minute. Ugh

Seahaven is very easy to get to and has plenty of parking... If the parking lot in front of the hotel is full, there is an overflow parking lot directly across the street with pedestrian crosswalks at each end. You walk in the front door thinking it's not an ocean view room, but it is!! It's not an expensive condo, so don't go into this thinking thats what it is. It's a very good place to have easy access to the beach and a place to lay your head at night. For the price, it is a really good deal! Overall, my kids and I had ourselves a great time! Would definitely stay here again!

It really needs some help. Elevator isnt working, things are falling apart. Our toilet wasnt working and they didnt let the staff know its 4 hours after we called.

Not clean and had roaches and bedbugs

The mattress had bed bugs and I I went down to the front desk and spoke with the manager and they told me that they would refund me but I booked through a third-party which is hotels.com and y’all would have to reach out to them and they would release my refund status. It’s almost been a week later and I’m getting lies and bull crap from both of y’all and I have proof in my phone. I would like to email somebody I want to refund.

The room was nothing like the advertisement showed. Extremely outdated, dirty and just plain wore out! Had I been able to find Anything else, and I tried, I would not have stayed there.

View of the beach was amazing, customer service was great. The beds were average. However, our room had mold and mildew. Somewhat outdated. I guess you get what you pay for, however the pics online were very deceiving.

The location to the beach was great but the unit was not impressive. Floors were sticky, towels had stains on them, the iron was missing in the room but there was an ironing board. When I first walked in there were mosquitos inside and a weird smell. The tables had stains and missing paint on them. The view is why we rated it two stars but the furniture, cleanliness, and lack of support from the staff were really one star.

I should’ve read the reviews before booking, lesson learned and would not stay again. This facility needs an entire over haul. It was truly disgustingly dirty. I don’t mind staying in “dated” places but I do mind staying in dirty places. Filthy-not just dirty. Found a flea on night 1!!! Got Lysol and disinfected the entire room, wore shoes the whole time-even in the shower. -10/10. Staff was friendly and great location.

This property was advertised as nice and clean. It was absolutely none of that. The rooms were both DISGUSTING! There was illegal substances (marijuana) in the drawer beside the bed. There was sand under the comforter on top of the sheets indicating the beds were not cleaned. The bathtub is filthy and has hair and dirt in it indicating it was not cleaned either. Light fixtures are falling out and broken, the hair dryer is nasty and full of hair and debris and rust. I brought my 3 kids here and had I not already paid for the rooms, I would have left immediately. I still contemplated it but had no where else to go and also, the staff told me I could not have a refund. Under no circumstances would I ever stay here again and I would never EVER recommend this hotel. It’s uncomfortably disgusting and nasty.

When we arrived around 1 that first day I was told the cleaning crew was just starting on the rooms. I have cleaned professionally in the past and we always started at 11, giving guests enough time to leave. We walked down the stairs and was really disappointed at all the trash everywhere and the safety concerns. The stair railing was coming out of the concrete walls and wobbly, lights are out on the back walkway, making it hard to navigate at night. There is no outside lights nor cameras for safety. No one patrols, ppl smoking weed 24-7. That smell is disgusting and I hate smelling that. It ruins vacation for the ones who don’t smoke it. Upon entering the hotel room I knew right away it was really run down and filthy. Although the bed sheets looked clean, the shower still had hair all in it and someone else’s shower loofa hanging on the inside of the shower curtain. The bathroom sink was pretty dirty and the floors hadn’t been mopped in months. I had to go out and buy cleaning products and a mop just so we could stay as we didn’t have the money to go somewhere else. The furniture needs replaced badly. The nightstands have chunks of wood taken out of them, the bed has obviously been repaired in the past several times, the couch was so stained and nasty that we had to put a blanket on it in order to use it. Couldn’t enjoy the view due to the windows being so filthy. Then they charge you an extra $50 deposit and I have yet to see it come back to me. I should get half my money b

This place was disgusting! Our first room we were given had holes in the walls cracked tiles in the floor completely fuzzy tv broken lamp it looked like it had not been cleaned in years! We reported it to the front they offered a second room we open the door there’s a hole in the ceiling and busted ceiling tiles in the floor tv was on and food was left out on a table. Gave us a third room I asked for a suite since we were having to move so much no upgrade was given third room was just as damaged and disgusting as the first we asked for a refund and told us they couldn’t give us a refund of any sorts m. This was suppose to be a romantic weekend with just me and my husband and they made it a nightmare ! I place is so disgusting and n n as Ty it should be shutdown there’s no way this place has been thoroughly cleaned and maintained in years! Even worse we somehow brought back bedbugs from the nasty linens. I will still be fighting for my refund!

Place was awful . It was nasty ,roof leaks , furniture was stained up really bad flooring was chipped and broken ,furniture in room was straight out of a dumpster the floor was sandy the beds were full of sand . The place had zero house keeping . Didn’t take out the trash make beds or anything . They even kept the towels hostage . Can’t even get extra 1 ply toilet paper for the room . Front door didn’t lock and if you think you’re taking a shower forget that . The knob was broken . Hotel swore they would fix the issue but didn’t do anything tried to smooth things over by offering a 1 night discount but didn’t actually issue it . And I guess I saved the nastiest thing for last . But yes they have roaches

Perfect location! Right on the beach with easy beach access. Rooms were clean but slightly outdated. King bed frame was very worn and mattress sagged in the middle but still comfortable. Full bed and sofa bed were great. Very bright in the room at night due to hallway lights and curtains didn’t block it out. A bit noisy but that’s not unexpected in PCB. Extra parking across the street was very helpful. We spent the majority of our time at the beach or doing other activities so we really only used the hotel to sleep. All in all, price was reasonable and the stay was pleasant.

It was way outdated and had cracks in the doors. They really need updating.

First room we got put in AC didn’t work. Got moved to another room where the AC also did not work at all. Maintenance came and spent an hour trying to get it to work before figuring out had to leave it on heat set to 90 for any cold air to come out. It never got below 73 in the room at any point. He tried but staff didn’t deferred no real apologizy or discount or anything. We were only there for one night for my son’s birthday and we were supposed to go bowling and instead we spent the night dealing with that. I also don’t do well in heat we had to open the balcony door just for us to sleep. Pool was nice.

The room was falling apart everywhere. Shower fell down numerous times. Neither tv would work. The beds were terrible, metal rickety frames. Great beach access but way overpriced

All the furniture, bed, all old and smelly. Ocean view was great but I don’t think I would ever use this hotel again.

Great location, but in need of an upgrade. Shower curtain and bar fell on my Mom, she wasn’t hurt but that’s not the point. It was not secured to the wall. Elevator took forever and made all kinds of weird noises. The AC vent had constant condensation that dripped in the floor causing it to be slick. The door didn’t automatically shut when you came in, you had to push it rather hard to get it to shut. No hair dryer. The broom and dustpan provided was nasty! For the money spent, I expected more. And the pictures are deceiving. It was ok but will probably not go back.

Ocean view was amazing! Rooms however could definitely use updating. But I did only pay 341 for 5 nights. So you get what you get. Service was good, very friendly. BED WAS HORRIBLE!!

If you are looking for a cheap hotel this will do. The rooms are clean but are a little rough. I didn’t see any bugs and the room didn’t smell bad so it made the stay bearable. The a/c worked really good and we had a good ocean view. Great location. Definitely needs major repairs and updating. The outside of the property was littered with trash.

We stayed at one of the suites (room 635) at Seahaven, and I'd say things were overall just okay. Positives: - The view of the ocean from the balcony was stunning (6th floor) - The A/C worked great in our room - The room itself was pretty spacious - Overall, the room was clean Negatives: - The lady at the front gave us our keycards, then gave another couple identical keycards, so they tried to enter our room shortly after we got there, leading to an awkward situation - The comforter on our main room bed had a stain, so we had to swap it with the one on the other bed - several places in the room were either beat up or run down looking, but it was easy enough to look past - The bed was extremely firm with a thin mattress - The floor in the main room had several DEEP cuts in it from people sliding the couch to view the ocean - There were a few paint stains in the room; one of them that was under one of the end tables looked like a big blood splatter, but we confirmed it was just dried paint. - The shower was stuck on, so you couldn't turn the tub sink on without the shower head spraying as well - The toilet lid looked dirty and disgusting, but upon further inspection, it was clean, but the plastic layer on the top was peeling off in various places, making it look dirty - Several wall sockets didn't have covers Ultimately, despite all the minor issues, our trip went great. The room wasn't our main focus so, the view was enough to enjoy it. Won't be coming back tho.

Stayed here several times over the years and this year was by far our best stay. Staff was very friendly, property was actually really clean, the room was clean, and the pool was clean. This stay was alot more quite than before, and the beach was hardly ever crowded. Had one minor issue we noticed with the curtains over the balcony door, but maintenance arrived to fix it as we were checking in before we could even report it to them.

The only problem i had was at checkin time the rooms were not ready. Said they were waiting on laundry. Went back at 5pm still told the same thing. I believe they should make sure rooms are ready at the 4pm check in time.

Absolutely disgusting! Reserved a suite. Arrived to holes in the wall, dust, rust, mold, mildew, peeling paint, torn up stained furniture, unpainted caulk. They let me look at THREE suites and they were all the same! Manager said she would not refund me until I said I would send the pics to the Health Dept and then I was immediately approved. The front receptionist was amazing through it all! She was very helpful and sweet!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NASTY ROOM (Moved 3 different rooms top floor rooms (409 &410) were horrible ,the last room (205) which the manager approvedafter asking for a lower floor.) the last room we cleaned ourselves. Asking to replace the sheets ourselves. KEY CARDS had to be replaced serveral times, eventually maintenance had to fix the door.While there someone tried to break into the room, when it was brought to management attention they were rude stated said YOU CAN LEAVE NOW. Stating we would get a be getting part of the stay back for cutting the trip short. They ended up charging for the stay in full. 10 OUT OF 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

No breakfast, no ice machine, and very little parking. Key cards NEVER worked… we had to go down for a new card almost EVERY time we came back to the room. They were hesitant to give us towels for our room. Some air vents were leaking from the ceiling, the toilet paper holder was broken, and shower wouldn’t come on entirely. WiFi was very slow. Bathrooms by the pool didn’t seemed to be cleaned well. I don’t like leaving poor reviews, but we were given next to no hospitality even for the simplest of things.

The views were perfect! If I could rate the front desk ladies solely, they’d get a 5star rating. They were so nice and helpful! Updates could be done but honestly we wasn’t in the room much anyways. Railings on balconies could be better for safety reasons, as a family with kids the railings didn’t look nor feel safe enough to allow our kids on the balcony. Beach access was easy and close, pool was great as well. No bugs other than ants. Some rooms more updated than others from what others say and family that stayed here as well. Had a problem with the toilet in our original room and was quickly and efficiently moved to another unit.

Pictures on the website are very nice. They are not what the facility looks like! It's fun down, dirty, some appliances are old and temperamental, elevator broken and we had 3rd floor. No compensation for that...who want to work on vacay?! Check in people not friendly, them seem irritated all the time. View from the room.. BEAUTIFUL!

The property is right on the beach. You can walk to several little shops, convience stores and restaurants. The rooms are a bit older and need a few fixes. Staff was friendly. Balcony was nice to sit on and listen to the waves.

Older place that could use a coat of paint and a qualified maintenance man’s attention. Our a/c worked but many other’s did not. The staff was less than personable, not rude just dismissive (granted, it is Memorial Day weekend). A second hand high is guaranteed and make sure you bring WD-40 for the beds. The fitness area is great, but it looks an awful lot like 7 floors of stairs. The in room amenities are just as fabulous as you make them (because you’ll have to bring them yourself, along with breakfast.) I hope you’re short like me, because I’m fairly certain that the toilet came out of a preschool. Highly doubt that I’ll get my deposit back, but bless their hearts, they look like they need it.

It was very convenient with the restaurant next door

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Absolutely disgusting. Filthy nasty dirty! Me and my family didn’t take our shoes off the entire time. We even showered in our shoes. We even switched rooms and it was still bad. The ONLY good things about this place was the kids eat free at Sharky’s coupon and the fact it’s on the beach. Whoever owns this place, should be ashamed. And that’s putting it lightly. Oh! And the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor. And the A/C was broke. F this place. Don’t be fooled by all the paid 10/10 ratings. It’s literally 0.5/10.

Food options are just like all of the others, they all have the same Foods, I would say do your research, go to Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville they have good food the hotel is run down a little bit maybe some upgrades would be needed but other than that it's good

This was the second time staying here within 2 weeks.. my experience was wonderful ..its not a 4-5 star motel but it is wonderful..just a few steps to the uncrouded beach and sharkys .. it was clean and we had a perfect view from room 318. Staff was friendly.. seriously..only looking for a cheap clean room ..we spent most of our time on the beach! I rather have more money to spend elsewhere than a room .. and this was perfect!!!

When we arrived room looked clean except for empty coke can left in bedroom. Bathroom door knob came off first time we tried to close it. Tv kept losing signal. Location was good, beach nice, bowl overfilled only 1 umbrella near entire pool. Store had necessities but $5 for a personal size bag of Doritos? Would not stay again

From the moment I stepped into the elevator, I had a feeling this stay wasn’t going to go well. The room was extremely small — the king-sized bed took up most of the space. We even had to duck to avoid hitting our heads on the TV, which was awkwardly positioned. Shockingly, there was no closet — the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t have one. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub had rust and was visibly dirty. The TV didn’t work properly; the picture was blurry and even the remote control barely functioned. There was no continental breakfast, no ice bucket — instead, they charged $2.00 for a bag of ice. That just added to the feeling that the hotel cuts corners everywhere it can. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s definitely not worth the price, and the experience did not match the impression given by their advertising. Don’t be fooled.
