Upon arrival room wasn’t clean and has a smell. Used bath soap was behind bathroom door. Spoke with owner and he assure me it will get clean. Return after night out and room was still the same from 11am that day. Owner and I had a conversation and owner called cops on me and forces me to cancel my stay for the night. DO NOT STAY Not clean not safe.

I had not much expectations for I booked a really budget night. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Ample room. Clean and neat. Same with the bathroom. Firm, comfortable bed (I actually overslept, on there). Highly recommended, unless you are not looking for a luxury. accommodation.

Complete dump, but staff was very nice. Had to change rooms twice. First time because of noise from next door unit. Seconds time because the smell of air freshener or cleaners was just too strong. Only stayed here because it was late and everything else was sold out.

The property needs improvement. Doors and furniture are falling apart. Sink leaking on the side near the faucet on the counter. Refrigerator was sitting on a pallet. The rooms need a steam cleaning, better linen, and rugs shampooed, and the furniture needs steam cleaning or changed. This hotel use to be okay, but we noticed that over the years, it has gotten worse. We stayed there because my husband smokes but he said, babe no more, I will go outside to smoke at another hotel.

Our room was clean, the mattress was a little firm for our liking, bring your own pillows from home, the pillows the motel supplied were like military sand bags filled with red clay. The rooms are small and spartan. The outside was neat and tidy. Pricewise the place was inexpensive, this motel was the kind of place where you went to spend a night but not a fortune.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the highway with that convenience you are likely to have road noise. The room is large and spacious. Unfortunately the room was not preconditioned (AC not turned on) so upon arrival after dinner the room was stifling and took a good 4 hours to cool down enough to contemplate sleep. Upon realizing the room had not been conditioned and asking the front desk if they had a room that was, he apologized and stated that they were very busy unfortunately my reservation was made a week prior to arrival not the day of where that statement could be valid.

The room was clean. The front desk clerk did not know the area so couldn’t tell us where we could eat. The problem with room was the shower did not drain so half way through I stopped as the soapy water was over my ankles.

I highly recommend this place for families, friends or solo vacation. The place wasnt the cleanest however with a bit of lysol n disinfectant cant fix . Quiet, pool was open and clean! Good area to stay especially with a DD across the stress, roses and piggy wiggly 2m walk . The maintenance people were pleasant and attentive and the host/owner was very friendly also attentive and met all of our needs. Im thankful to have stay at this place and see that is improving alot since 2012

Visiting the Plymouth/Edenton area, just needed a base location to sleep. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly, and checking in was a breeze. Room was old. Furnishings were dated, tarnished, and/or stained. Front door had so much play when closed that it didn't actually seal. The security chain was missing a screw and barely attached to the door jam. Corners in the bathroom had dust bunnies, and the bathroom vent looked like it was almost clogged with dust. TV had plenty of channel options. Beds were firm and comfortable. Pillows were a bit flat; if you are a pillow person, be sure to bring some of your own. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and the air conditioner was able to keep up with unusually warm weather for June (95 degrees!). Now, the bad: The smell of weed. Pot stinks; it stinks up the indoors, the outdoors, and people who smoke it stink. We couldn't escape the stink during the stay. People stunk up the common areas outside. If we left the bathroom vent fan on, it somehow pulled in the smell of weed from another room. I'm guessing the rooms have a common vent outlet. Fortunately, my wife brings multiple air fresheners on trips, so we were able to drown out most of it by using the chair to push the door into a sealed position and leaving the vent fan off. The smell of weed turned us off from even trying the breakfast.

Room had an odor to it and my mom did not stay there but two hours and I checked her out . When I went to the office to check out no one was in there then all of a sudden a girl came walking in from outside and said oh I’m sorry . Room was old looking .
