No elevator. Staying on. Second floor and having to carry baby items up stairs is not easy. Outdated. Hot tub broken. Breakfast area very small not nearly enough space for people to eat Outside area needs some TLC especially in the back

I like to stay at the Baymont because of the beautiful indoor pool but unfortunately, was closed down for maintenance repairs. Last year, the whirlpool spa was broken and still not fixed. I don't think the sauna is working eirher but I didn't ask. Unfortunately, by the time I found out the pool was closed, it was too late to cancel my reservation, and the desk clerk could not add any alternative for that. Next time (if I do decide, maybe not), I'll call Baymont several days before to see if the pool is open so I will have time to cancel. Also, two of the three lamps in the room were not working due to burnt out lightbulbs. Yes, I could have called the front desk for replacements but, by then I was just too tired and disappointed, I didn't. I probably won't be back . . . the front desk people are friendlier at the hotel down the road anyway . . . and their pool is fixed and in working order.

I've stayed at this property twice in the past couple months and both times the pool was "under maintenence". The hard floors in the rooms were sticky and didn't feel clean at all. The staff was friendly enough but the overall experience wasn't the best.

Pool hours were posted 9-8 daily, went down to pool at 8:53 and they said it was closed. I asked if it was open at 9, and they said, No closed. No reason given. We had been swimming the previous evening and everything was fine.

Parking was easy, right in front of the hotel. The place was clean, breakfast was the typical hotel free breakfast of waffles, hot/cold cerals, muffins and breads. The pool was closed as stated by many previous reviews of it always being closed for maintenance.

Hotel was disgusting, dirty moldy smelling. Pool area was filled with so much chlorine. In chemical, the water was cloudy surrounded by plants that were mostly dead and filled in with oh greenery. Exposed insulation and duck work even nearer coffee area. There were large stains on carpet throughout the hotel, it was clear hotel has not been properly serviced or maintained at any recent point of time. Cracked tiles cracked buttons, chipping paint, evident everywhere, but minor compared to moldy smells. Water damage to walls et cetera. The staff was kind enough, but definitely used to the problems. I was told by multiple members that management, our owner does not care to improve service ore property. Would never recomend.

Our first room had bed bugs. The pool was out of service all week. The breakfast was almost nonexistent. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and it wasn’t cleaned all week. Definitely would not stay here again.

This hotel was to say the least subpar Unfortunately, we had no other options in the area due to an event in that area It was full of mold and dirty. The only thing we did is sleep there. This place should be inspected by the health department at least ! We try to get a refund. They said we had to use this platform…. Needless to say was def negative impact on our weekend!

The room had a strong chemical smell from cleaning that didn’t go away. The tub was cracked and pinched the foot when taking a shower. The bed was comfortable and there was an included breakfast. If you stay there stick to the waffles or toast.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, there is no elevator and we had a lot that we needed to get up and down the stairs. Also, the strip between the bathroom and rest of the room was missing, with nails pointing upward, and one of the pictures was broken with the glass shards still in the frame. The front desk staff was very nice. There was as much right as there was wrong with this location.

Outside the property there was trash around not well maintained. The room light when entering the room did not work. The hasp to secure the door inside was broken. Shower water pressure was good. No clerk at the desk upon leaving. Had to go back inside to ask for a receipt. Do yourself a favor too, book direct with the hotel for better savings. 3rd parties will not save you money. Go direct to hotel, airlines, etc. for all reservations. Will stay at a different hotel next time in this area.

Check in was easy. Staff was nice. Although i made a reservation for 2 adults, there was only 1 complete set of towels. Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was lackluster. Room was comfortable and bed was nice.

After using a 60 discount on booking online I got one night stay for 63.00 instead of 123.00. I had made reservations with hotel directly when we arrived we showed where we paid online for a room and the reservation that still was there cancell and jusy use current paid in full one night stay, they charged my card for the 1st reservation 123.00 plys tax ontop if already getting paid from online they said i had to call the place i reserved the one and it was them they wouldn't refund me gave me anither night and then asked me to leave because we had to get our dog dropped off so theybkicked us out. 198.26 for 10 hours and then kicked us out they are dog friendly. Hotel isn't worth too dollar and I'm disputing charge niw

Don’t take any service animal with you. This location does not seem to know the ADA laws and what they can and can not ask the owner of a service animal. My disability is not your business!!! Your website states Service animals welcome at no charge. If you take your service animal with you make sure to have a paper copy of the certificate (even though they aren’t technically allowed to ask) but a digital copy from the US Service Animal company is not “allowed”. If you aren’t going to follow by the laws and the statements on your websites you might want to adjust and learn them. Due to the staff and management now knowing the laws this led to the police getting involved. This can be a lawsuit so I would recommend training your staff and management on the laws of the ADA. I would also recommend training your staff in the ways of taking care of a customer without an attitude!!!

The management is very attentive to their guests. All who worked there were friendly. I have stayed at other Wyndams, US and Canada. This Wyndam had the cleanest rooms, bathrooms although the parking lot needs a bit of eye appeal. Great stay!

Reading reviews I also checked out as soon as we arrived. However the room was clean, sheets/bedding normal for a hotel, shower was functional with hot water, and floors were clean. On one baseboard under sink was moldy and yellow. There were several large trucks - service vehicles in the parking lot. Dogs are allowed here and we heard barking once or twice but not at night. The breakfast was ok. Waffle maker and bananas. The eggs and sausage looked typical for a buffet at a hotel. The pool was closed. I heard there will be new owners. I booked because close to OWU. I’m a bit concerned that we lucked out with a decent room. We have a trip planned to return in sept for a higher price and I’m a little worried. It is a nonrefundable booking so we will have to wait and see. We did stay previously at the quality inn down the road. I may return there with the next trip. I don’t see many other options close to the OWU campus. Hopefully the new owners will provide some reassurances as some of the reviews here are a bit worrisome.

Reading reviews I also checked out as soon as we arrived. However the room was clean, sheets/bedding normal for a hotel, shower was functional with hot water, and floors were clean. On one baseboard under sink was moldy and yellow. There were several large trucks - service vehicles in the parking lot. Dogs are allowed here and we heard barking once or twice but not at night. The breakfast was ok. Waffle maker and bananas. The eggs and sausage looked typical for a buffet at a hotel. The pool was closed. I heard there will be new owners. I booked because close to OWU. I’m a bit concerned that we lucked out with a decent room. We have a trip planned to return in sept for a higher price and I’m a little worried. It is a nonrefundable booking so we will have to wait and see. We did stay previously at the quality inn down the road. I may return there with the next trip. I don’t see many other options close to the OWU campus. Hopefully the new owners will provide some reassurances as some of the reviews here are a bit worrisome.

Weird that they made everyone park behind the building making it look like the parking lot was empty. If you were on the 1st floor could hear people walking above you.

Very nice hotel at a great price. Safe, accessible neighborhood. Nice property overall. Rooms were good sized, nice beds, clean and relatively new bathroom. I will return on future trips in this area.

We stay at this hotel every 6 months when we fly into town to see my family. It’s a nice property right off a main road and has many food/shopping options near by. They also allow our puppy which is a huge plus!

The good: Staff was nice. Room linens were clean. The bad: old musty smell. beds need replaced/updated. Moved the nightstand because the light was unplugged. Found trash from the previous guest. light still did not work once plugged in. The finish on the furniture kept rubbing of on our hands and clothing. Not horrible enough to change rooms, probably stay somewhere else when in town though

Check in was easy. Staff was nice. Although i made a reservation for 2 adults, there was only 1 complete set of towels. Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was lackluster. Room was comfortable and bed was nice.

When we checked in, we were told the pool was closed. I explained that was the reason why I picked that hotel. I found out 2 days later, that I was supposed to be provided a no fee cancelation with a refund. One of the front desk workers (not the same as our check in one) was super nice and helpful to my daughter, two different times. The parking lot in the back was beat up and needed redone 2 years ago. Breakfast was “sold out” 30 minutes after it was offered 2/3 mornings. The room was clean and in good condition, and the AC worked great. I’m grateful I purchased at a great price, or I would have been more disappointed than I currently am.

Clean but worn. Cheap laminate in bedrooms is edges are curling from water. Breakfast not near the lobby, clear at the other end of the property 2 converted guest rooms. On September 21, the room was very hot- no air conditioning was on and food was sparse. Guests were all complaining.

Quality not there for the price. Floors in room had water damage, bath fan switch not functioning properly, no drain plug for sink, pool out of order, bedside receptacle to loose to maintain connection. Poor breakfast.

Parking was easy, right in front of the hotel. The place was clean, breakfast was the typical hotel free breakfast of waffles, hot/cold cerals, muffins and breads. The pool was closed as stated by many previous reviews of it always being closed for maintenance.

Traveler, be wary! The exterior is dated, but the front lobby is attractively decorated. I should have cued into the fact that things might be different from my normal travel experiences, by the presence of heavy construction equipment in the parking lot without any active construction in the immediate area. The pool looked lovely, the hot tub was under repair and not available. The hallways are carpeted in somewhat threadbare, chocolate brown carpet. There is no elevator. Our room was also a mixed experience. The AC unit was filthy and loud, the window screen was damaged and falling out. The floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and loose, with the grout popping out everywhere. The toilet lid was broken off, but had been put back on, as though nothing was wrong. There were no grab bars or handicap access as shown in online pics. Oddly, the exact same picture was hung kitty-corner from itself in the room. The good things: The room and bathroom were basically (minus the AC unit), clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was HOT and the water pressure excellent. We did not ask to change rooms that night because I honestly was too tired to deal, and again, basically clean with a comfortable bed. The next morning when I spoke to the front desk staff, she immediately filled out a maintenance request. So, would I stay there again? Probably not. But the place has potential, and I hope it gets better.

I would not stay here again no matter what. We stayed 3 nights while in town for a shooting competition with my wife and 3 kids. The clientele is rough to say the least. I saw multiple people smoking weed outside the hotel entrances and there was clearly people smoking in their rooms as well. Some of the cleaning staff stay in room 106 and we unfortunately stayed in 107. Every day multiple people came to the room asking for “Collin”, getting what they came for and leaving. The rooms are outdated and in poor condition although surprisingly our room was somewhat clean. The staff at the front desk asked us to got to our rooms at 9:45 while we were sitting around chatting. Quiet time is at 11:00 but they wanted us out of the lobby. I went to my vehicle 10 minutes later and the lady that asked us to leave was laying on the couch watching TikTok…apparently she just wanted the couch. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS HOTEL!
