Beautiful property. Cozy historic hotel without being old and creepy ;-) Very dog friendly and walkable area, right next to the marina. Very cool morning ( and sometimes afternoon !) fog over the water. Would love to stay here again some day if in the area.

The Port Ludlow Inn is getting a little long in the tooth....The rooms do not have air conditioning and the toilet in our room did not drain.....they also do not have a courtesy bar in the room and the resort bar closes early during the week at 9pm. Next time we'll see if we can find a vrbo....

Pretty setting on the water, parking could get tricky. There is a townhouse development right next to the hotel, which wasn’t an issue, but no street parking. The rooms are spacious with a small fridge but no microwave. We were on the second floor and the people above us were very noisy, you could hear them tromping around. Beds were comfy. Coffee in the rooms were weird, it was a kettle with a coffee teabag, tasted ok. Restaurants are few and far between. We got take out at El molchahete which was good, and the Cove coffee shop had nice coffee.

Beautiful setting, quiet and relaxing, Friendly staff. Nice restaurant on site. Make sure you make reservations. Room furniture getting a bit dated. A bigger TV as well as microwave and coffee maker in room would have been nice. The bed was super comfy and the jetted big tub was great. Parking gets pretty crowded and spaces are tiny. Overflow parking in gravel lot next door.

Excellent with 2 minor exceptions. Parking spaces were too narrow even for a compact vehicle and in order to have room made up one needs to put tag on outside of door requesting it. Paying for 3 nights it was disappointing to only receive drinking water first day and free drink coupons for 1 day. Place was great other than that

Beautiful area. The resort is great. I actually became sick so they gave me late check out so I could gain my bearings before heading out to get my brother from Camp Beausite. We will visit again when we can utilize more of the amenities

For the money it costs to stay here but, they couldn't find us a "Do Not Disturb" door placard or a note pad to write on (the sign in our room said to just ask for one). The shower head was plugged up and white with minerals. The tile grout in the bathroom needed cleaning and the baseboards were falling apart around the tub from getting wet. One of the three blinds was broken so to hold it up you had to wind the cord around a plastic wall cleat. Another window was very hard to secure since the lock had been installed wrong (not a big concern since we were on the 2nd floor). The public restrooms at the marina had fewer cobwebs then around the outside of resort buildings.

The location is amazing. It is astonishingly beautiful. Staff was either excellent or terrible, depending on who I was engaging with. Room was filthy. Dust everywhere, including dust bunnies on the closet floor.

The location of the property is good. The view is great and facility is also good. There is some room for improvement on the cleaning, for example the bath tube is not cleaned completely, the glass is also dirty and at lobby we saw a lot of mosquito

Beautifully located with walking paths right on the grounds. Our room and the resort itself was clean. Having an end suite, we had a 180 degree view of Port Ludlow. Their in-house restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and fine dining. It was a new menu and delicious. The staff was pleasant and their night front desk man responded to a needed request straight away. Delightful stay.

We loved the location. It is situated next to a beautiful marina. The hotel is charming, but due for some updates. We found it to be clean and the staff friendly. We used it as a base camp for Olympic National Park and found it to be pretty accessible (under an hour from the park).

Outdated property. No AC, old dusty fan so we had to keep the windows open and we were right above the office so people were smoking, yelling and walking barking dogs all night. The woman at the front desk was angry that we had a reservation for some reason and wasn’t sure they had clean rooms- not a great welcome. Hair in the shower.

This resort was beyond my expectations. The rooms were lovely--lare, comfortable queen bed, spa tub, fireplace, water views, parking close to room, spotless and tasteful, a joy to stay there. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Has a nice view of the water. Windows could use light blocking drapes. Blade blinds still let light in. My room faced (north) a community of home that give off light at night. The south side of hotel would be better if you're light sensitive at night.

This is the perfect location for a romantic getaway! We were concerned about the room being too warm after seeing reviews that mentioned no A/C but with a ceiling fan and a stand fan our room was perfectly comfortable even with temps in the 80s outside. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant at all so can't provide any feedback there. The resort was central to all of the other exploring we did in the area (Port Gamble, Port Townsend, etc.) so we really loved that.

Very nice accommodations. Nice big rooms with plenty of space to spread things out. Very clean, and had all of the appointments. All of the staff was very attentive and friendly. We plan to return. Our only complaints for the management were 1) The mattresses were a bit saggy and, we felt, in need of replacement. 2) The Adirondack chairs at the foot of the beds were not useful and something to trip over in the dark. 3) Add lighting to the shower.

This is not a resort. It doesn't have a swimming pool. There is nothing to do nearby. Staff couldn't explain or recommend anything about the surrounding area. The door is broken. Cheap window blinds very uncomfortable in the early mornings.

Resort was beautiful and peaceful. We had a spacious room with sitting area and en-suite hot-tub. No A/C, but opening the windows at night and using the ceiling fan kept the room cool. Pleasant view of the marina and mountains in the distance. Coffee and tea in the room, with actual ceramic mugs.

This was an exceptional stay. There was no shortage of above-and-beyond hospitality both at the front desk and in the Fireside restaurant. We traveled around for 10 days in the PNW and this resort was top-notch and probably my favorite.

We came into town for a wedding, and we’d stayed here before for a wedding and had a great time. I asked if we could possibly check in an hour early and they told me to get there early and have to ask day off, so we did. The older lady at the front desk was so rude and unfortunately I didn’t get her name. She acted as if it were appalling someone would ask this question. And waived her finger at me and scolded me. I tried to stay calm and just said thanks we’ll be in the restaurant. It was gross. On the other hand, I may have had the best service EVER in the restaurant thanks to the waitress, Liz, and really the whole restaurant staff. We had our 2 year old with us who is thankfully a great traveler, but Liz did literally everything she could to make us comfortable, including sending us off with a round on the house. Night and day from front desk to restaurant.

Front desk was friendly and efficient. Dinner service was good, wait staff was friendly but kind of busy/disorganized Breakfast service was slow and were placed in corner with no view of harbor scenery, again seemed understaffed.

We arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready. They front desk gave us to coupons for free drinks and said we could wait in the bar. The hotel had numerous signs saying “no smoking”. When we came out of our room to go for a 20 minute walk, the hall was filled with weed smoking fumes. When we returned, there was still a lot of weed fumes, but further down the hall. Luckily it didn’t enter our room and was gone in a couple of hours. The room was nice enough. A bit worn. The bed was not comfortable as the mattress was saggy and not supportive. The shower was not comfortable.

This was our 2nd time staying and we were a little distracted this time. We were woken up in the morning to doors slamming shut - not sure if it was staff or other guests. Our stay included a Monday so we also were woken up by the garbage truck making its rounds around the neighbors next door to the resort. Our checkout was done by a staff member who couldn’t even be bothered to make eye contact.

This place has always been amazing. The service is awesome. Front dest is always sweet and helpful and they even remembered us from last time. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Had amazing view. Also dinner was amazing… thank you

The room was great with a lovely view. Appreciated the 2 drink tickets and no resort fee. Restaurant food was good but all aspects of the service was painfully slow.

Beautiful area. The resort is great. I actually became sick so they gave me late check out so I could gain my bearings before heading out to get my brother from Camp Beausite. We will visit again when we can utilize more of the amenities

The building has a lot of potential. Cool architecture and nicely positioned near the marina. But the rooms (we stayed in two different king rooms) feel a little shabby and the service was very uneven. Some amazing staff members, others who seemed like they had better things to do.

Beautiful property. Cozy historic hotel without being old and creepy ;-) Very dog friendly and walkable area, right next to the marina. Very cool morning ( and sometimes afternoon !) fog over the water. Would love to stay here again some day if in the area.

This is the perfect location for a romantic getaway! We were concerned about the room being too warm after seeing reviews that mentioned no A/C but with a ceiling fan and a stand fan our room was perfectly comfortable even with temps in the 80s outside. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant at all so can't provide any feedback there. The resort was central to all of the other exploring we did in the area (Port Gamble, Port Townsend, etc.) so we really loved that.

out of the normal touristy areas so its not crowded. not much to do in the area compared to downtown Seattle, but that's exactly what we want- to be away from crowds and cities!

Pretty setting on the water, parking could get tricky. There is a townhouse development right next to the hotel, which wasn’t an issue, but no street parking. The rooms are spacious with a small fridge but no microwave. We were on the second floor and the people above us were very noisy, you could hear them tromping around. Beds were comfy. Coffee in the rooms were weird, it was a kettle with a coffee teabag, tasted ok. Restaurants are few and far between. We got take out at El molchahete which was good, and the Cove coffee shop had nice coffee.

The only restaurant (at the resort and one of two in the whole town) was ok but not great. Restaurant service itself was excellent. Beautiful location and nice walks around the property and nearby. Parking was very limited and seems like they should have a reserved just for the resort.

This is a beautiful property right on the water. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the beach after dinner and it was very nice. We saw a lot of different shells. The room was great and had a resort fill to it.

The resort is in a lovely spot right on the water, next to a marina. Staff is great. Grounds are very walkable. Room clean, bed comfortable. Loved the jetted tub in the room. Restaurant has a deck, faces the marina and the Olympic Mountains, has tasty food and happy hour is a good deal. Well located for visiting the attractions if the area. If you want to pamper yourself a bit, the Resort at Port Ludlow is an excellent choice.

We loved the location. It is situated next to a beautiful marina. The hotel is charming, but due for some updates. We found it to be clean and the staff friendly. We used it as a base camp for Olympic National Park and found it to be pretty accessible (under an hour from the park).

We had fantastic service inside the hotel and at the delicious restaurant. The setting is gorgeous with views of the bay on all sides. The room was nicely sized and beds were comfortable. It’s a a great, central location to be able to attend various locations all over the Olympic Peninaula!

Lodging was excellent. The restaurant not so much. My husband dinner was undercooked. We're served by the bar staff instead of service staff and the bartender was too busy to take care of us or to explain the menu, etc. Service was substandard in my opinion.

Front desk was friendly and efficient. Dinner service was good, wait staff was friendly but kind of busy/disorganized Breakfast service was slow and were placed in corner with no view of harbor scenery, again seemed understaffed.

The room amenities were really nice and the space was very large with multiple views. I loved the tub and the fireplace. Unfortunately only one dining option, which was inconsistent in both service and food preparation across the two times I ate there (some disappointing and others amazing). The only other thing that wasn’t ideal was that I couldn’t control the temperature in the room and the heaters ran nonstop.

Visited for a one night getaway. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the room, view, jetted tub, and the cozy fireplace. Had dinner at the Fireside and left very impressed. The food was delicious, so we returned for brunch and had another great experience. We would recommend this resort without hesitation.

The property grounds and surrounding area is stunning. This extends to the room, it felt warm and homey in the best way. The size of the rooms were amazing, the jet tub was a hit with my kids, and the beds were very comfortable. The amenities fee paid for itself with the included parking alone. We were sad that they did not have any of the s’mores kits made (2 kits were supposed to be one of the included amenities) and didn’t offer an alternative or to make more kits. The checkout time listed on my itinerary when I booked said 12pm, I was informed that the hotel had switched to 11am after the date I booked. I would have hoped the original booking would be honored but it was only an hour. The made to order breakfast was waayyy too expensive for what you get. Snack market onsite was standard for hotel. The one restaurant looked nice but definitely not a reasonable choice if you have young kids. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids under 10-13. Going as a single adult or couple would be the best experience.

The hotel, room, restaurant and staff were wonderful. The room size was a bit larger than most and comfortable. There was no air-conditioner that we could find, but it was cool there in august and we left a couple of windows open, which was fine. The one complaint we have is that the bathroom arrangement was not ideal with separate shower, jacuzzi and vanity area which had to be closed off together for toilet privacy so that my wife could not use the vanity at the same time as I needed to toilet or shower. The view from our room was wonderful.

After I paid for a balcony room they didn’t have the balcony available and did not make a rerun on the extra I paid for the balcony. Then at 4 I was workmen by the beeping sound of a delivery truck backing up proceeded by about 30 minutes of clanging of the truck lift, door, and delivered goods. Beautiful property but it was an awful experience. Hopefully this is not the norm.

Had high hopes for this stay, but it missed the mark. When we arrived, the woman at reception was on the computer and didn't look up or say hello. I had to wait about five minutes for her to finish and when she was done, she just said "Last Name?" The room was spacious but both the bed and pillows were lumpy. For the price, I was expecting better service and a bit more.
