Nice buffet breakfast. They even made my waffle for me. Used the gym and lots of great places to eat nearby. If you are doing a day trip to Charleston, stay here and save a ton on a hotel room.

Amazing staff, comfortable room, but older than Lucy and Desi. The sockets in the room would not even hold our chargers. NO ELEVATORS and one roach (not the smoking kind). Please ask for first floor accommodations and charge your phone in the car.

This is an older hotel, but it is well maintained and clean. There is no elevator so you must carry you luggage upstairs if you are on the second floor. Charleston is 40 minutes away.

The toilet barely flushed, cobwebs on light fixtures. Hair in shower, frayed carpet, stains on carpet, mattress was slanted, smelled musty, everything is outdated, found beer bottle caps on the headboard. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The lady at the front desk was nice though.

Our keys kept on not working . One key was opening both our room doors and than not working . Woke up To big water bugs on the wall in one room and roaches on the other . We had to make sure we shook off all Our clothes and luggage . The roach had roach eggs in it . They couldn’t give me a discount because they already charged my card they said . So now I have to wait and speak with a manager and see what they can do about our stay and hope I didn’t bring any roaches with us back home . We drove 9 hours for a wedding to stay and that was our experience .

Staff was very accommodating since we needed an early check-in due to an event we were attending that day. Room was comfortable and had a small refrigerator and microwave. Experienced one issue when some hotel guests were being loud outside our room, then moved inside and were arguing in the main hallway right in front of our room door. Informed staff the next morning and luckily the loud guests had already checked out. Breakfast was decent but they have an attendant who fixes your plate.

Took 45 minutes to get a room Man in front of me took 30 minutes fighting with his credit card and the man at desk should have checked me in while he was on the phone Then I checked in and was given a room that was not cleaned and had to then reload my suitcase a 3rd time and drive back up front to get yet another room…will not stay here again

The staff was super nice and Ms Kathie at the front desk was so understanding and helped us get a later check out for my daughter and grandson. They went above and beyond. Even offered us blueberry muffins when the breakfast was over and cleaned up. Just super friendly and accommodating.

Hotel was clean, and set in an ideal location that was suburban yet near a ton of amenities (restaurants, stores, gas stations etc). Front desk staff was friendly and assisting, ( Thank you Mr Mike). We stayed here while attending accepted students weekend at Charleston Southern University, as it was set off major highway, affordable and only 30 minutes away. According to my daughter it was also the most comfortable bed she slept in while at a hotel. Would have given 5 stars across the board but the bathroom walls needed to be painted as some paint was chipping and carpet was dated.

This is not a bad place to stay however the Complimentary breakfast is misleading. The “hot” breakfast was a Ham and cheese slider” and the rest was cereal and such. The woman at the breakfast area was not very informative or welcoming and appeared to be too consumed with her calendar than to advise of all breakfast choices. The area where the cereal and such is, was roped off for employees only so we ended up just getting coffee and went for breakfast elsewhere. I chose this place because of the ratings and complimentary breakfast as to save time having to go out to eat but would suggest to not even consider the complimentary breakfast when booking. There were some rude guests that walked up and down the hall all hours of the night, speaking as if it were daytime but this was no fault to the inn.

I chose this place because of the ratings and complimentary breakfast as to save time having to go out to eat but would suggest to not even consider the complimentary breakfast when booking. There were some rude guests that walked up and down the hall all hours of the night, speaking as if it were daytime but this was no fault to the inn.

I imagine this hotel was quite impressive 20–30 years ago, but today it feels outdated. The breakfast was disappointing—poor in quality and limited in choice, with a staff member handing you a pre-set “meal” rather than a buffet or menu. On the positive side, the location is nice and quiet. However, be prepared to carry your luggage, as the property consists of multiple buildings and may require a bit of walking.

Considering this is the only hotel in town, we didn't have much choice. Friendly staff. The beds are hard. My hips and shoulders were sore every morning. No elevators in this place, so be preared to lug everything up the steps. Breakfast was like covid times. Ask someone for the food who stands behind a plexiglass seven. So weird. And the same thing every morning. But it's only a 2 star hotel, so that makes sense i guess. Although some flavored coffee creamers would have been nice.

Nice buffet breakfast. They even made my waffle for me. Used the gym and lots of great places to eat nearby. If you are doing a day trip to Charleston, stay here and save a ton on a hotel room.

Staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Very convenent and peaceful. Beautiful property. Check in was quick and easy. Check in Staff was great. No problems. Will stay again.

The hotel is very clean & quiet and the staff is extremely helpful & friendly. The fresh hot breakfast included in the price of the room is a plus for sure, although a bit more variety would help improve the experience there. Overall we have been very satisfied with our stay here on both occasions.

Please be aware that there is no elevator. I did not realize that I would have to carry my luggage up the stairs. Fortunately, I think there are only two floors. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. There was an issue with my TV, and he came to my room immediately and resolved it. The rest of the staff were fine as well. Breakfast is served to you from a counter. Options were scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, grits, bacon, and cold cereal. There was also orange juice. You could serve yourself packaged blueberry muffins, bananas, and coffee and tea. I got scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was great, but I didn't care for the eggs. The room was clean and attractive. The pillows weren't awesome, but they were okay. The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was comfortable.
