Visit to woodstock was for the McHenry music festival. Once we approach the property we were a little concerned because there was a lot of construction going on the roads surrounding the hotel and the outside of the hotel well let's just say is due for a remodel as we entered the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. she checked us in a timely matter and recommended The Chop Suey Hut for dinner. the inside of the hotel appear to be remodeled recently and had us feeling much better about the stay. took the elevator to the third floor to our room and we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the room the beds were comfortable it appeared clean , the only negative thing about the room was that the shower had really no pressure. The next morning we went down to the breakfast its just the standard yucko stuff. The hotel was reasonably priced so over all it was a good experience.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms were updated and the property was very clean. The staff were welcoming and always had a smile. This is our go-to place when staying in Woodstock.

The whole place was kind of smelly. Our room smelled like someone smoked in it before we got there. There was a dog in the room across the hall that was evidently left alone and was barking and whimpering until the owners came back about an hour later. The breakfast was inedible. Will not stay there again.
