Best Western View of Lake Powell Hotel

Efficient Check-in, friendly staff, two very quiet nights, great location

Our overall experience was unfortunately just “so so”. First of all, we were placed in an ADA room. This made for a walk-in shower, but no tub. Also, they were experiencing some kind of “moth invasion”. We were not told about this ahead of time. We killed at least 12 moths in our room. It was disgusting and we almost left. That said we stayed and mentioned it to the front desk upon checking out, and we didn’t even receive an apology or offer of discount.

There was literally no view of the lake. The room was ok but the bathroom had a weird smell the whole time; almost like a burning smell. The ac would randomly make loud noises in the middle of the night (sounded like an ice machine) causing me to keep waking up. Also the black out shades didn’t go all the way to the way letting light in early in the morning. The breakfast was pretty typical and the waffle machine was good. The breakfast area was kept neat and clean. The pool was open but too cold so I enjoyed the hot tub. Overall it was OK but I did expect it to be a little nicer.

Breakfast was nice. Hot tub has a great view. Everyone was very nice!
