Vale Barn is a fantastic, detached barn conversion in the centre of Dronfield in Derbyshire. Vale Barn was once the carriage house to Vale House which was home to a family of substance who patented malleable iron. Dronfield lies midway between the vibrant city of Sheffield and the historic market town of Chesterfield, on the outskirts of The Peak District. Historically, the town has great significance and the Grade I listed Church of St John the Baptist is testament to this as it has stood at the centre of this community since the 12th century. You will find all the local amenities you require in Dronfield, including The Green Dragon pub which is believed to have been established in 1547.
