Staybridge Suites Wichita Falls by IHG

Roaches!! There were several roaches in our 3rd floor room. We checked out early because of this and the pool was dirty and the area by the pool/grill was in total disarray. Breakfast was lacking also. No one was actively checking the level of food or coffee. Asked for jelly for toast and she pointed to the honey. I told her not honey I wanted jelly. She said oh and open the cabinet and handed me 3 jelly packets. Didn’t get any more out for the counter. I had to also ask for the coffee to be refilled. We have stayed at the Staybridge branded hotels before so this is why we choose this one. However, this was a very big disappointment. Had to kill roaches in our stuff when we arrived home!! When we checked out the girl at the front desk said thanks for letting us know about the roaches. This is too big of a problem for them not to have known. I would not recommend this place at all. We would like to get our money back since we left a day early and had to get another hotel.

Rooms don’t have hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom. I asked the front desk for something to be done the following day. They said they would take care of it and they did NOT! Also, they tried to shut down breakfast early on one day.

We have stayed at other Staybridges before and enjoyed them; however, this one in Wichita Falls, TX was one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Staybridge needs to pull their brand as it doesn’t measure up to their standards. The carpeted floor was wet, squishy and sunken from the leaking air conditioner. Broken tiles in the tub and the water spout wasn’t even attached to the wall as was the toilet. And that was the second room we were moved to! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Positives: Bed was super comfortable, large suite that met all our needs, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good AC, clean room. Negatives:
