If you're feeling a little less energetic then let the train take the strain and take the Snowdon Mountain Railway to the summit of this popular peak, with the platform a five minute walk away. There is so much to see and do within very easy reach, with the Llanberis Lake Railway, National Slate Museum and Electric Mountain area all within easy reach. A little further afield you can enjoy Zipworld Titan and Caverns, the longest 4-man zip wire in Europe, Bounce Below underground trampoline, along with the magnificent slate caverns at Llechwedd - all located at Blaenau Ffestiniog, which is a stunning drive away. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit.
