Throughout its territorial area, it has a vast stretch of river and sea, including its picturesque and beautiful fishing pier, as well as a small area of sea coastline with the following beaches: Angrinha, Praia Grande, Infanta, Molhe, Pintadinho, Joao Lopes, Caneiros, Afurada and Torrados; as well as other natural beauties such as Ponta do Altar, cliffs, caves, algares and leixoes. Ferragudo is often described as a postcard village, with typical white houses on a hillside on the banks of the River Arade. And the boats on the river complete the picture.
