Pool was nice amenity in summer. Entrances with trash bins in front were smelly and smoke smell in hallways. For someone with asthma this is a trigger.

The staff was very nice. I booked the hotel for its indoor pool. When we went to swim on day 2, it was super cold. I asked the front desk and they told me the part for heating the pool is ordered but not yet delivered. All week the pool wasn’t available for my use the entire stay 7 days. I booked there for the pool. I had my autistic son with me and I wanted to let him swim. Very disappointing. As I was checking out a guy was heading to the pool. We talked and he too booked there for the use of the pool. Also, the mattress felt like sleeping on a brick. Not comfortable.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly enough. However, a swimming pool was advertised but it could not be used because the heater was broken. In the fitness room, not only was it dirty, 4 out of the 5 machines did not function properly. It was a very pathetic fitness room. While a hot breakfast was advertised, it was not available because the person who takes care of it took a vacation day. That was a laughable joke and very disappointing. then, I could not get a receipt upon checkout. It is unlikely that I will stay there again.

Check in was straight forward. There are many side entrances so getting to your car is easy. Room was updated and clean but the mattresses were on the older side. You could hear road noise and neighbors. We did have a fire alarm our second night at 3:45. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was basic, nothing over the top. Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel on the cheaper end of the spectrum and don’t want or need lots of extra frills this could be for you. Location was very convenient to the Zoo and local mall and restaurants.

The room was mostly clean, but the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The halls were really bad. Pool was very dirty and unkept. Had to go buy ice because the ice machine had mold all over it. If they don't clean the outside, the ice maker definitely isn't getting cleaned. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning the maids left a trolley of all the garbage they took from rooms in the hall outside our room. It was still there the next morning.

Yeah so if you have the money to stay somewhere else, DO! To put things simply, this hotel is nasty. Nothing looks clean, we had to request a new shower curtain bc the one in our room had mold all over it, the toilet leaked on the floor when ever it was flushed, moldy and cracked ceiling in the bathroom. For breakfast, there was not enough food for the guest staying there. They advertised laundry room but it was nowhere to be found. Giant paint stain in the hallway that’s apparently been there for a while. It was just terrible. I plan on emailing corporate because this hotel needs a major change and a good deep clean! Please trust all bad reviews bc we made the mistake of ignoring them and booked this hotel anyway!!!! PS….you can definitely hear through their thin walls.

We were in town for a concert at Mr. Smalls theatre and this was the only hotel near by available. It was a 10 minute uber to the venue. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking. Front desk staff was friendly. We got a king room and it was disgusting. Floors were dirty, not vacuumed or mopped, end tables were sticky, bathroom had toilet paper pieces on the floor and hair in the tub. I travel with a cleaning kit so we just cleaned up the best we could and headed out for the night. I’m thankful it was just for a night. The property was visibly dirty, lobby, hallways. Never again.

The room I reserved was not available, so the only other option was a different room which was supposed to be discounted. I was charged to full original amount and have not been successful obtaining any refund. In addition, the room was dirty, tv service was not available, and half of the pillows did not have a pillowcase when I checked in.

The only thing that looked clean was the lobby. The hallways were filled with trash. When we gor to our room there was garbage on the floor and hair in the shower. The day time staff was nice but one of the check in ladies was probably on drugs. We asked for our room to be cleaned when we left for the afternoon. When we go back we could tell housekeeping was not in to clean our room. When we asked for a different room later on the gentleman at the front desk was rude and you could tell he was just there for a paycheck. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately, I cant give a good review about this hotel. I will say that the staff was friendly but the room was so dirty. I've been a cleaning lady for 25 years and started in housekeeping so I understand the job. Its hard work and you arent always given the time to be picky. This review is based on the basics. Our room smelled like Chinese Food and we actually found rice on the floor that confirmed that the people before us must have eaten it in the room (which means the carpet was never vacuumed before we checked in). I cleaned the bathroom before we used it because it was the worst I've ever seen in a hotel room. There was dried pee around the side of the tiolet and floor around it. The floor was so dirty and hadn't been cleaned for months. I know what that looks like....trust me. I washed up the floor by hand with some lysol wipes we had in the car and it was blacker then black. The only thing clean in the room was the sheets. If you are looking for friendly staff and clean sheets then this is your place. I never write bad reviews but I had to on this one. Luckily it was only one night so we just dealt with it.

The facility is very outdated and dirty. The pool looked green and algae growing in it. My friends room didn’t have toilet paper and when she asked for some they handed her a box of Kleenex and said they were out. Toilet didn’t flush well and tub drained very slow. The bar was okay. Not sure how this place hasn’t been condemned. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Room was utterly gross—grimy windowsills, walls scattered with boogers, tub didn’t drain and had hair in it upon arrival, bathroom drawer coated with a mysterious sticky substance. Back-door entrance opened without having to scan your key. Alternatively, beds were clean (as far as I could tell), and towels were in abundance. All in all, the condition of the room made for an uncomfortable stay, and, at points, I felt dirty simply existing in the room. The hallways, as well as the room at points, smelled of cigarettes more often than not. When on rare occasion the smell of cigarettes had dissipated, it was replaced with the comical reeking of weed. I booked there for the pool. I had my autistic son with me and I wanted to let him swim. Very disappointing. As I was checking out a guy was heading to the pool. We talked and he too booked there for the use of the pool. Also, the mattress felt like sleeping on a brick. Not comfortable.

Check in was straight forward. There are many side entrances so getting to your car is easy. Room was updated and clean but the mattresses were on the older side. You could hear road noise and neighbors. We did have a fire alarm our second night at 3:45. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was basic, nothing over the top. Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel on the cheaper end of the spectrum and don’t want or need lots of extra frills this could be for you. Location was very convenient to the Zoo and local mall and restaurants.

Hotel was average. Only feedback would be that the furniture is very outdated and could use a revamp. It seems like they don’t clean the rooms not in use often. Our room was ok, but a couple things were dirty like the ice bucket, stained bedding, and microwave. We reserved 2 rooms one with 2 beds and another with a queen bed and pull out sofa. Both rooms seemed like they haven’t been cleaned in a while before we checked in. Pull out sofa in one room was broken, that you couldn’t even use it.

The motel is severely understaffed. Although I was offered a free upgrade, I have not been able to rest because I have been waiting for four hours to have my room cleaned. The front desk manager has been very professional and attentive in addressing issues.

My reservation was never booked with the hotel despite me receiving confirmation email with a confirmation number. The staff had no idea how to resolve this situation And were not helpful at all. asked for a first floor room with a convenient place to park and unload, was given a room and vague directions for entry (around back, door 8). Got there. No room with that number anywhere. Not even on room signage directions, Oh, turns out it was upstairs. I asked for another room - anything as long as it wasn\'t a smoking room. Was then given a room that STILL required stairs or the inconvenience of an elevator. Entered room - and it smelled SO horribly of smoke that it was revolting. Already SO tired from a 13 hour drive, that I couldn\'t take another step and accepted my fate of a disgusting room. THEN - the front desk guy by and knocked and was confused that he had given me this particular room when he was standing with a couple that had been booked in the same room! and then he had to go looking for another room for them. Inside property was very nice and clean, the bar and restaurant was great. Definitely need more staff members for the breakfast crowd, they couldn't keep the food trays filled. The outside of the property could use an overhaul clean up, so much discarded furniture laying out in the open in the section 8 entrance. Looks terrible.

We stayed here for the U.S. Open and it was perfect for our short stay. The rooms were clean, not super modern, but they were pretty good. Bed was comfortable. Check in was very easy. The price was reasonable. Area was safe with lots of restaurants and fast food places around it. The best part was the morning breakfast! Prior to heading out for the day, we enjoyed a fresh, warm breakfast at the hotel. The woman, who I assumed had prepared the meal, seemed to take a lot of pride in her work. Tasted good and was fresh! I would definitely stay here again!

The Comfort Inn was a solid family stay for the price. We had great service at both the bar and at breakfast with a great variety of food. The room was mostly clean, but the condition of the room could use some attention. We had a refrigerator that didn't work and heavily stained blankets needing replaced.

Would have rated service much higher except that complementary breakfast was out of eggs, sausage, milk, yogurt, biscuits, and fruit by 8 am the morning after our stay. Food was not replenished during the 20 minutes we were there.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly enough. However, a swimming pool was advertised but it could not be used because the heater was broken. In the fitness room, not only was it dirty, 4 out of the 5 machines did not function properly. It was a very pathetic fitness room. While a hot breakfast was advertised, it was not available because the person who takes care of it took a vacation day. That was a laughable joke and very disappointing. then, I could not get a receipt upon checkout. It is unlikely that I will stay there again.

Door #2 was broken and did not close fully. Garbage near Door #2 was full. Then it was emptied but full bag sat outside by the door for the duration of our stay. No toilet paper in communal bathroom. Neither of the two business space stations were functioning. Water pitcher was not filled. Disabled man was treated very poorly by person who prepared breakfast. The disabled man (in a wheelchair, no legs, very thin) asked to have a bagel 10 minutes before breakfast station opened up and the worker told him this was not possible because breakfast was not officially open.
