Mill Farm House is a lovely Grade II listed farm house on the edge of the pretty village of Ravensworth, North Yorkshire with its wide green and ruined castle. The comfortable and spacious house with its attached barn conversion sleeps 16 people in eight bedrooms, with five bath and shower rooms. Entering the house from the courtyard, there is a small stone flagged hall, with space for coats and boots, leading to the spacious farmhouse kitchen, the heart of the house. With an oil-fired ESSE range and induction hob, it is a lovely space to cook, gather, eat and relax. The oak table seats twelve easily and there is a smaller breakfast table that can be added to seat sixteen. There is a woodburner and French windows leading to the walled front garden, with terrace. Various footpaths run from Ravensworth through the surrounding villages allowing visitors to enjoy many circular walks. The Swaledale market town of Richmond and the Teesdale market town of Barnard Castle are nearby and offer a wide range of amenities and shops.
