We stayed at The Ray because we were attending a wedding nearby. The location was walking distance to everything in downtown St Aug including shops and restaurants. The property was clean and safe. The rooftop view was really cool and was perfect for looking at the full moon at nighttime. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had 2 y/o and 3 y/o children with us and the only issue was that there was no deadbolts on the doors leading to the rooftop and stairs but we were easily able to block them off. A really great stay and we will be staying here again in the future

Location easy walk to historic sites. Clean, large, well stocked, little extras. We loved the record player and game table and double shower! Roof top fun extra. Perhaps ambiant lights canopy or cushions would be nice addition.

The Ray (3rd floor with rooftop access) absolutely lived up to expectations! The rooftop view is easily one of the best in the city. The rental itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured - spacious enough for everyone to spread out and relax. The location was perfect - within walking distance to St George Street, great restaurants, and most historic sites.We took a short drive to Crescent Beach one day and also did the Live Music Sunset Sail, which was a blast. Some of the standout restaurants we tried were Maple Street Biscuit Company, Prohibition Kitchen, and Casa Reina Taqueria & Tequila.The property manager was incredibly responsive from the moment we booked. The only small downside was the ice machine not working, but a bag of ice easily fixed that.We’d definitely book this rental again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The property is exactly what you see in the ad and was clean when we arrived. Having the two parking spots makes life easy. Everything is within walking distance and if you get the third floor having roof access is great. Would stay here again.

Loved our stay here! Location fantastic, huge place for family of 4, and everything we needed for our short stay. Kitchen had all the basics for some light cooking. Roof top was beautiful although I wish it had furniture.

the penthouse was such an awesome place to stay. the master bathroom was large and beautiful; the kitchen was nice and classy looking. the layout of the penthouse was great, but there was only one tv and it was in the main room (if that matters). the best part of the penthouse was the rooftop area; it was very relaxing and beautiful to sit up there in the mornings or late afternoons and look out over the city. the property manager was responsive and helpful.

The Ray worked great for us. Reserved parking was a plus. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Very large and open. We had afternoon visitors and it worked out. Would stay again.

This place was pretty amazing. Wonderful location to the historic district. Comfortable beds. Cons: other guest of vacation property kept parking in the second parking space that was assigned to The Ray. The car was never moved. No lounge furniture on the roof and could use more towels and wash clothes

Perfect location to enjoy downtown St. Augustine! We had no problems walking. Unit was very clean with plenty of room for four friends. The rooftop area is a plus to enjoy a cocktail or meal. Would definitely stay again!

The “Ray Charles” unit was super clean, comfortable and extremely convenient to the city center and beaches, but nice and quiet so we were able to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen great and overall a very nice stay!

The 3rd floor unit at the Ray was a great spot for everything in historic St Augustine. We had two couples staying and plenty of space. The unit was easily accessed and very well appointed. It had everything we needed and it was a lovely place to visit. Would definitely stay there again! My only suggestion would be to swap the beds so that the queen bed had an en-suite bath rather than the bunk beds.

This place was stunning walking in. It was so beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable. It is pretty close to the downtown area so we walked everywhere. I will definitely be back! The record player with Ray Charles records was incredible, we felt so close to that history. The hosts were great too, we had a small issue but they were on top of it and fixed it fast. Our 20th Anniversary was great!

We absolutely loved this space! The only complaints I could find was there are 2 bathrooms, but both are in a bedroom. It’s uncomfortable for one bedroom that has no access to a bathroom without going through someone else’s bedroom at night. But the space is absolutely beautiful. Communication with the host was perfect and they sent out someone promptly when we had a small problem to correct it. We had a great time learning the history as well. Records should be replaced as they were all too scratched to use, but it’s a neat addition. Be mindful of the path you take to downtown to avoid the family center area where there are a good number of homeless if it bothers you. We went by it many times with no issues but could see how it could make some people uncomfortable. Would stay here again for sure! Thanks again!

Overall nice place. Both bathrooms off a bedroom which was okay as we had 2 couples, but if someone had used 3rd bedroom would have had to disturb others. Plenty of room, just suggest larger living room furniture. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars.

We had an amazing time staying at The Ray Penthouse! The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with and the penthouse looks exactly as it did in the pictures and is very spacious and clean. The private rooftop access is incredible!

Everything was very clean, owners were very responsive, and it was great location for walking to nearby attractions. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

This place was stunning walking in. It was so beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable. It is pretty close to the downtown area so we walked everywhere. I will definitely be back! The record player with Ray Charles records was incredible, we felt so close to that history. The hosts were great too, we had a small issue but they were on top of it and fixed it fast. Our 20th Anniversary was great!

Beautiful trip for anniversary planned. House is gorgeous and beds comfortable, house clean and host responsive to any need. Due to hurricane we had to evacuate our children here as well host allowed us to stay an extra day to safely get back. Thank you and we would come again for sure and hosts responsive to any need.

The Ray (3rd floor with rooftop access) absolutely lived up to expectations! The rooftop view is easily one of the best in the city. The rental itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured - spacious enough for everyone to spread out and relax. The location was perfect - within walking distance to St George Street, great restaurants, and most historic sites.We took a short drive to Crescent Beach one day and also did the Live Music Sunset Sail, which was a blast. Some of the standout restaurants we tried were Maple Street Biscuit Company, Prohibition Kitchen, and Casa Reina Taqueria & Tequila.The property manager was incredibly responsive from the moment we booked. The only small downside was the ice machine not working, but a bag of ice easily fixed that.We’d definitely book this rental again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location is extremely walkable for all historic and downtown activities. The particular neighborhood street is historic. There is a shelter of some sort up the street. So there are a handful of homeless people and those living in cars on the street. Some late night noise and groups of people wandering around.

Essentially several houses away from a homeless shelter, not disclosed. I would not have booked it for my guests (3 women in their 20's) had this been made known. Nice place though.

Really enjoyed our stay in the Ray Penthouse! Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, breweries. And just a short Uber ride to the Amp. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to St. Aug!

As seniors we found the place ill equipped. the shower had a slick floor and no handrails. Also the kitchen area was two steps up and no hand rail. Although there was sleeping for 8 the living area only had a sofa and loveseat. Only two you rise chairs at the kitchen counter and 6 around the table.
