Casa Maria 2- Charming, Quaint Apt Next to Everything Downtown!

Excellent location and very cozy and clean space. Downtown was easy walking, which was so convenient. So many nice restaurants and shops in walking distance. Vilano beach is just a few miles away and is so beautiful. Overall, enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Our stay at this location was horrid. I’ll begin with the few positive things. The very Tiny unit was clean, kitchen equipped ok and location was close to Historic district as described.Locating the back ally to the unit after dark was near impossible, no courtyard sitting area as described. The unit stated it had a sofa sleeper- we are two very active ladies in our early 70’s and I had planned to sleep on the sofa sleeper as there was only one bed, the sofa mattress was a mattress topper only 1/2” thick foam rubber. That wasn’t the bad part of typed. The frame was supported with 3 wooden boards supporting the back and front of the sofa. It was the only furniture in the entire house to sit on. The sofa was so uncomfortable we were constantly turning the cushions over trying to find a comfortable spot to no avail. The bed was comfortable but the bedroom was so tiny that two people couldn’t pass each other The unit had only 2 - total 2 washcloths-for 2 guest on a seven night stay. I did contact the owner and he had 6 more delivered promptly along with more linens. His explanation for having only 2 was that unit was usually rented for 1-3 nights at a time !!!! I would never recommend this unit for anyone unless the sofa was replaced

This quaint apartment had a super comfy bed. Space just right for two. Close, within walking distance, to all the main attractions in the historic district.

The apartment was very clean. Perfect for one couple. The bathroom is beautiful but the shower could use a shelf or ledge. The outside was extremely dark so arriving at night was a challenge especially for parking in the back. My only complaint is due to other guests and type of flooring it was very loud. The location could not have been better. We could easily walk to so many shops, restaurants and historic attractions, with the trolley tour we never used our car once so the onsite free parking at the location was a bonus for us.
