Beach Cottage! 100 Steps to the Sand, Pets OK, Private Deck!

We overall had a great time on our trip to St. Augustine. The property was cozy and very close to the beach. Communication with Danielle was easy and she was very attentive during our whole trip. The only downside was that all of the mattresses were hard and the couches were uncomfortable, so we didn’t sleep/rest very well… That part can use some updating.

Great location, easy walk to beach.

We rented this house the first week of August 2025. The inside was clean, however there was a very large roach that was found in the living room on our second day. The house is very close to the beach, but also a high traffic area on the dead end street with the local surfers.The air conditioning was a game changer for us. We prefer to be cool and comfortable during the heat of summer, however this house had a sign above the thermostat that stated do not run the air conditioner below 74 or the unit will freeze up, but the unit froze up anyway even after following the instructions. Temps inside the house got up to 80 that day. We could not put the temp. below 75 without the unit freezing up. We like to be comfortable in our environment in summer, therefore this house will not be on our list of VRBO's to re-visit. Parking is at a premium during summer; the driveway is reserved for the B unit and the A unit must park on the street.

we loved our stay here. the location was amazing and made going to the beach so easy. We loved that they had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!
