Riverside Inn & Suites

When we arrived there, there was police raiding. The motel in 2 or 3 rooms. Then later on thing and we got bugs by the far department because somebody was having an overdose. So that was there and then we had kids next door that were slamming stuff around, so it's pretty noisy there. Not a very good place to get a Good night's rest if you want to go party there. Yeah, that's a perfect place to go party yet it's dirty, so you don't have to worry about breaking anything cause it's already dirty enough. So take a chance if you want, but I wouldn't go back there if it was me OK that's my review.Good luck

The walls the bathroom an towels was not clear it was smokers running in an out of the parking lot all night I didn’t want to go to my Car cause all the homeless people that was around the motel very bad experience.

We found a cockroach in the bathroom, the water from the showers smelled off, there were no towels or bath soap availabile, and were way too many drug addicts around the parking lot. The beds were comfortable however. Thats really the only positive thing I could think of. The staff were helpful as well.

The bedding has cigarette holes in it and looked dirty. The bathroom was very run down with missing plaster and old fixtures the two towels were stained and old looking. Someone tried to open my door and thankfully my dogs barking was enough to keep them from coming in. I will never return or recommend them to anyone else.

This motel should not be advertised on Expedia! It is a section 8 housing facility for the indigent and down and out. I felt unsafe in the room and in the parking area. The bathroom was filthy, floors hadn’t been cleaned in forever, and everything was old and shabby (like a giant tear in the curtains). Very noisy, and busy with lots of activity outside the building and in, including fireworks in the parking lot (and this was in August). The only good things I can say is that the bedding was clean and the help was friendly. Very certain that this is not a place for regular travelers. Avoid this hotel!

We got in at 2:40AM and found the parking lot full of homeless, druggies, and prostitution. The worker barely spoke English and I had to push him to give me a receipt. As we drove to the back watching about 20-30 people in the parking lot staring at us, we were afraid of getting out of the car. We rushed to the room and realized we were in a homeless persons room. It was dirty, molded sheets, cockroaches, holes in floor, walls, ceiling, doors, cracked mirror, no towels to shower, towel rack was on the floor, old milk on the fridge, and the couch looked like it came from the dump. Dirty and nasty is all I can say. We removed all the bedding and found the sheet cover to be the only thing clean and without mold. We slept on top of that and we had brought our own my-pillows. We needed to bolt at 6:00am so it was just to get a quick nap to break up our trip. We could barely sleep and I realized we just blew $85 dollars for a nasty 3 hour nap. I’m shocked the Expedia would list this place to its members. I feel I should be reimbursed for this. My wife agrees, no more just find the lowest price hotels. We should have been warned that this was a homeless encampment, and that most of the rooms were occupied by permanent homeless. We were happy our car was still there in the morning and bolted. My wife returned our key card to the clerk and didn’t say anything to him. But she should have told him that there wasn’t any towels. I fear we will get charged for it. Expedia failed us!!!

Full of shady characters not clean outside terrible trashy bathroom fixtures in need of repair

The motel had homeless walking around or laying on ground nearby. There were people (homeless or poor people) hanging out, talking/arguing on the property. This morning, I found a homeless sleeping on the stairs by my room. $150 for that kind of location - rip off. It looks like it is home for homeless or poor people.

Do not stay here there was no running water in the shower no toilet paper nothing was clean the bed had cigarette holes in the sheets and covers the fridge was filthy the floor was filthy the walls had graffiti on them the shower head was a pipe poking out no shower head this was nothing like the pictures don’t ever stay here

Bed bugs, weaker running the area all night your not able to sleep, roaches in bed I had to flick off two off the bed, shower is clogged up, so the water isn’t flowing down the drain well so it overflows. Only came here for a night was so exhausted from traveling. I was going to ask for a refund but it was already almost 2 in the morning when I was getting ready to finally slept, I was exhausted and didn’t want to look for another hotel nor bother.. but I would never want to come back to this place. I’ve slept at many cheap motels. But never seen roaches on the bed and crawling up the wall or water is not overflowing the tub.

Subject: Formal Complaint – Misleading Listing and Unacceptable Hotel Conditions My recent experience with a hotel booked through Hotels.com was the worst I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, it was horrific to walk in from the street and see a disturbing scene. The atmosphere was unsettling and completely different from what was advertised. Inside the reception area, the situation was equally bad—poor hygiene, a foul smell, and an overall unsafe feeling. When we proceeded to the room, we were shocked. The room was filthy, unclean, completely untidy, and the odor was unbearable. It was so bad that we could not even step inside. The conditions were far from acceptable and in complete contrast to the photos and description on the Hotels.com listing. We immediately refused to stay and booked another hotel, but Hotels.com still enforced a cancellation policy and refused to refund our payment. I find it unacceptable that such a hotel is listed on your platform, and that customers are penalized despite being misled. This experience has severely damaged my trust in Hotels.com, and I urge you to investigate this listing and reconsider your policies regarding refunds in cases of false advertising and unsanitary conditions.

There were no towels and the cleanliness and care of the room was horrible with streaks and the shower was splattered with filth from previous renters and the toilet leaked every time we flushed the toilet.

This hotel was dirty and disgusting. There were cigarette holes in the comforter and mattress in what was supposed to be a non smoking room. The AC unit didn't work properly. And the worst part was there were roaches in the bed

There’s insects and all kinds of dirt and dust on the floor and other surfaces a lot of the room looks like it has never been cleaned . I can’t even sit anywhere without seeing a bug

I really like that it's quiet, and within walking distance to anything I might need. Very good deal.

The room looks nothing like it does in the pictures, there was holes in the wall, in the bed covers, mold in the shower, there were no towels so we had to use our beach towels. I felt very unsafe from the moment I parked to check in because there were a lot of indigenous individuals lurking around my vehicle, every time I would go get something from my car there would be people observing me and watching my every move. I can see that a lot of the individuals staying here look like drug addicts. Its only been about an hour and a half that I checked in and I already know I wont be getting much sleep tonight. I have my children with me and I need to make sure they are safe. I do want to mention that the young man who checked me in was very nice and professional.

What a nightmare. Smoke alarm was gone, no wifi they told me about that was supposed to be included, also no towels or shampoo, theres stains on the blanket, there was people going through the garbage dump which was literallly outside my door, there was no phone, there was stuff ripped out in some metal stuff in the bathroom vent, there was hair all over the tub, the doors were stained with what i hope is kool aid, there was somene kicking down a door in another room, theres some guy who looks like he passed out and fell backwards on his wheelchair. The ambulance came at least. Someome tried getting inside or sounded like it. There was a dog laying in garbage i thoightt was dead, but thank God moved after a while, this was one night. Not even a partial refund. I didnt want to upset the front by complaining and possibly not getting deposit back. The fromt desk ppl were fairly nice, i just didnt know how to handle the situation, i took photos and videos of what i could too. My advice is for the fellas at the front desk is to work for a better location. My advice to travellers is stay at your own risk! Im probably forgetting more!

Do not stay here, looks nothing like advertisement on Expedia. As soon as you drive in you want to drive right out. Dirty all around, walked in room & looks like it was just used. I asked for refund for EXPEDIA & they do not want to refund me, really upset as I left hotel as soon as I checked, as my safety comes first. l will no longer be using Expedia as they don't want to do the right thing and refund my money.

This had to be one the absolute worker check- ins I’ve every been through. After speaking with the front desk employee one the phone, I get to the hotel and everything had changed. When I arrived to check the in the front desk was very rude and when I asked about the deposit he tells me a completely different priced than what he said on the phone. I started to question him about the changes and he just says we don’t have any more rooms available and walks off.

MADE RESERVATION ON EXPEDIA PAY FOR ROOM AND DEPOSIT AT THE PROPERTY. ARRIVE 6:30 PM ON A SATURDAY IN WHEELCHAIR. MANAGER CANCELED MY RESERVATION, DID NOT NOTIFY ME AND RENTED THE ROOM TO SOMEONE WHO ARRIVED EARLIER. THEN I WAS TOLD 'I CAN JUST GO TO A MOTEL DOWN THE STREET WHERE HE SENDS PEOPLE EVERY TIME HE DOES THIS'. AFTER THAT CAME 'THIS IS EXPEDIA'S FAULT AND I SHOULD COMPLAIN TO THEM'. I HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO FIND A ROOM LATE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. RECOMMEND DAYS INN OR RODEWAY INN DOWN THE STREET.

I love this place! I've stayed a couple of times when coming to Riverside visit family and the service is wonderful. Even the smell of the rooms and comfy bed and pillows and front desk staff always greet you with welcome smile which remind me of Southern TN Hospality back home down south. Absolutely one of the best hotels in Riverside and when traveling back again I will return to Riverside Inn and Suites

I would like to get a call back. I selected a room with a couch and the property did not have a couch. The bed was stained. The room had roaches and the bathtub was not cleaned. The floors had stains. There was an extra night stand next to the tv that looked like it was just in the room as an “extra” nothing on there. When going to the front desk no one answered to complain. I would like to get my money back. This place is unsafe and filthy. The next day the cleaning person did not knock and opened the door at 10:58am. I urge someone to call me back.

Had the most wonderful stay amazing room with amazing view. The staff all went above and beyond everyone was very nice and helpful. The housekeeper was so hospitable she went above and beyond to ensure my room was just perfect for me! I enjoyed my 5 day stay and a got discount which was FABULOUS!!!!

The location was great for what was my purpose trip. Its located nearby a shopping center and restaurants that can be driven within 5 mins tops and walkable shops too. Sadly, I find it a displeasing experience as my bed had this odor that I cant stand and it's irritating. The bathroom as well as the bathtub has an old soap laying around. I think the place is great and the pricing as well. But the cleaning can be done a bit more. However, the staff was nice and great and served me at the front office.

I wish I would put into words how disgusting this place is. Dirty, gross, unsafe to say the least. I left as soon as I saw the parking lot and room even though I knew it meant losing my money. Please don’t stay here if you value your life and health.

A tast e of sweet nice southern hospitality and I definitely return again when visiting Riverside from Tennessee. The front desk staff is very helpful and the room was clean and a bad comfy which I gained a A+ for awesome. The location is great it is walking distance to the mall the theater restaurant and several thing that a tourists like to do is close by.

No amenities in room. No coffee machine in room, no coffee anywhere on premised, no microwave, no hand towel, wash cloths or bath mat towel. Only two bath towels. A fridge in room that had been unplugged and had created a lake in the middle of the floor that had to mop up for us, because all rooms were full. Expected more than this for $110.

I would rather sleep in my car than stay in this hotel. Run down and dirty. We only got two bath towels and no other linens, the king bed had queen flat sheets laid over the mattress,and the shower diverter on the tub spout was missing entirely. And they expected us to buy ice from the machine.

I would've liked to have been able to access the lobby for snacks. I also would've liked to have seen a security guard on the premises during late hours arrivals for customer safety.
