I could hear everything above me and around me, so I didn't get a lot of sleep here. Overall the property was not too appealing. The staff was nice and my dogs were able to stay with me.

I stay because they don't charge for dogs. The staff is friendly, but the grounds are a bit dirty and the dog waste station hasn't been emptied in weeks. This stay wasn't good, as there was a small electrical fire in the back of the building and we spent most of the night standing out in the parking lot watching the firemen. Finally got a room in the motel next door about 2 AM.

I was ‘pleasantly’ surprised this time after experiencing the “WORST” Motel 6 experience of my 50yrs of driving across the country..! Now having a dog with me for the last ‘five’ years.. Motel 6 is a ‘go-too’ option w a dog. My Troy Illinois experience was one of the best I’ve experienced and my Kansas City was the worst I’ve experienced. ..!!!

Stayed here before- love that my pet stays for free!! Usually there’s a place for the dog to pee - the lot is large with gravel but, no grass. I sleep well on the bed! There were no towels this time and the towel holder was very dusty so we didn’t put the towels in it. Area seems good - I can go out with the dog and feel ok.

Gentleman at the front desk was lovely and helpful. The hallway was filthy and smelled of pee and smoke. The room was old and worn and not clean. One bed was clean, the other had smelly sheets. The floor was dirty and the room smelled bad. The parking lot was well-lit but there were dodgy people about and there was a police presence dealing with an intoxicated individual.

Wasn’t really clean and the walls had holes and shower was not good. You have to pull the shower and doors really hard and walls are paper thin. It was the cheapest option around but I can see why. I like the super 8 across the street a lot more

We tried 3 rooms, first smelled of cat urine, he put us in another room, 2nd room as we opened the door a cockroach ran up the wall, he wanted to give us another room I said it will prob be the same with roaches, sure enough as soon as we opened door on 3rd room one was by the baseboard under sink. Worst expirence of my life fur motel rooms and I had my granddaughters with, lasting effects for them. He said he'd refund money, no way were we going to stay there. Waiting for refund from Expedia now. I'll never stay in a Motel 6 again..

I don't usually stay at the Motel 6 chains but I couldn't find lodging at other locations that compared in price. After looking at the reviews from previous guests, I decided to book my stay here. I was pleasantly surprised! This motel is a hidden treasure. It's very clean and modern updated furniture and very well maintained. It will forever be on my list when I have to visit the St Louis area. Great job Motel 6! I'll be back.

The person at the front desk was nice enough, but the entire property smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarette smoke. My kiddo and I coughed most of the night. The floors and walls were disgusting. The bathroom was the worst, with unknown brown and yellow substances smeared all over (the walls clearly had not been cleaned in a long time). The area of town seemed rather shady and unsafe as well. Definitely would not recommend. (The only reason we stayed here was because the hotel we originally reserved had a power outage. This was the only place we could get a room last minute.)

There was a loud whistle-like sound every time the AC fan turned off, and the bathroom floor could have been swept a bit better, but the room was basically clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice.

Great value for the money. Everything was adequately clean and well maintained. We appreciated having fridge and microwave. The drapes did not touch the wall at any edge of the window, allowing a lot of light into the room all night since parking lot lights are bright; that was the only problem we had.

Overall the room was nice and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Unfortunately, the shower head just a bit more than a drizzle and I expected a hair dryer and a coffee pot / coffee for a deluxe room but there was none!

I stayed here before but i forgot tgey have roaches (still) ...this time i noticed the wakks are paper thin so it dounded like the neighbors were on my room ,and the heater ever time it cuts off it sounds like a train coming to a screeching hault.

Tried to charge me again after not finding my booking claimed it was on there twice. Then tried to say it was a violation for 3 to sleep in a king bed mind you one is my child who's gonna end up in bed with us anyway. However we was on the second floor as the window opens and don't even have a screen, wouldn't that be a violation? Plus soon as I turn the light on in the bathroom a roach scurried across the floor. Floor was not even clean. Definitely will never stay here again. Old and run down and rude

This was a great place to stay overnight with my dog - the only issue was one bed had red stains on the sheets. When I called the night manager offered to take care of the situation immediately! Would definitely stay again :)

I left my coffee mug beside my car when I left in the morning. I called hoping someone might have turned it in at the front desk. No one had but the clerk kindly went outside to check the parking lot for me. No luck but I really appreciated the effort.

The property was old and offered limited amenities. Did not feel safe after seeing several people seated in the adjacent parking lot. Area surrounding motel was sketchy. The best thing I can say about the place is that the gentleman checking us in was very nice and helpful.

If you're looking for a basic no-frills hotel that is clean and safe place to sleep, this fits the bill. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste and bad back, and no shampoo was provided. If you're looking for a basic no-frills hotel that is clean and safe place to sleep, this fits the bill. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste and bad back, and no shampoo was provided. Gentleman at the front desk was lovely and helpful. The hallway was filthy and smelled of pee and smoke. The room was old and worn and not clean. One bed was clean, the other had smelly sheets. The floor was dirty and the room smelled bad. The parking lot was well-lit but there were dodgy people about and there was a police presence dealing with an intoxicated individual.

The person at the front desk was nice enough, but the entire property smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarette smoke. My kiddo and I coughed most of the night. The floors and walls were disgusting. The bathroom was the worst, with unknown brown and yellow substances smeared all over (the walls clearly had not been cleaned in a long time). The area of town seemed rather shady and unsafe as well. Definitely would not recommend. (The only reason we stayed here was because the hotel we originally reserved had a power outage. This was the only place we could get a room last minute.)

Newer condition with small microwave and refrigerator. Good shower and laminate flooring. Coffee in lobby for morning. Not a good walking area, but small grass area near road for dog.

GREAT VALUE + pretty clean & nice! Small place though, so book early! Lots of food near-by. Only issue was I could hear our neighbor snoring.. but that was my only complaint. Great place.

No shampoo only bar soap. Very small body towels. No smoking inside but smelled of it cig/weed smell was strong. Not a great place for a family with kids but ok for a quick over night stay.

I’m the past we’ve always been satisfied with our stay, but this time we were disappointed. The room smelled strongly of dog urine when we walked in. We were traveling with our dog, so I completely understand that they can have accidents. But the hotel could spray an odor neutralizer when they clean the room. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, because it was coming out of the shower head and the tub faucet. There was also a guy yelling in the hallway at around 1am. Not the hotel’s fault but the walls are thin so we could hear it all. Not a great experience this time.

Room was semi-clean and stunk like mold or cat piss.Hot water quit in the morning or shower didnt work either way! Air conditioner was good.Parking was plenty but full of potholes. Long story short: Bad hotel. It seems that all the Motel 6 hotels have the same pattern: Terrible.!!! The people running them have destroyed the brand for years till they are going to burry it ! We will avoid Motel 6 in our next future travels :)

This was the worst motel stay of my life. The room was dirty. There was trash in the bathroom bin when I got to the room late at night. I was tired so I ignored it. An hour later, as I was in my pajamas in bed, the manager pounded on the door and said "Ma'am, open the door please." After the third time of him saying this, I got up and said from the other side of the door, "Why should I open the door?" He said, "Please just open the door." I opened the door and he was standing in the hall with a very large man who was angrily arguing with him, saying, "This is my room, where is my stuff, someone stole my stuff." The manager said "No one stole your stuff." The the man said "why did you put this lady in my room?" The man peered into the room and said he had put his stuff in there. I said there was no stuff in this room except some trash in the bathroom. The man then pushed me aside, stepped into my room, and said "My stuff was right here." I stepped back in front of him and said "Get out, this is my room!" He then left, and went down the hall and went into a different room. I shut the door, changed back into my traveling clothes, packed up and left. I told the manager I was leaving because I didn't feel safe and that he had allowed a man to come into my room. He said "Ma'am, that's why I called the police." He pointed toward the front door. There were six police officers out there standing around. The police told me this hotel has a problem with double-booking. I was traumatized

The stay was good! It was a good place to do a quick pit stop when traveling. The staff was helpful for a quick in and out. Just very basic amenities but I wasn’t expecting a lot.
