We actually never stayed. We checked in to the hotel and were giving our room key. Upon walking into the room, it smelled very badly of cigarettes and marijuana. There were large flies all over the room concentrated mainly on the drapes. I went back to the desk and asked for another room. They found us one, but when going to it, there was a broken down van in front of it. The bed cover was dirty and the room smelled like mildew. They quickly refunded our money and we made a call and got a room at a different hotel. The staff was courteous and friendly. The motel has not been kept up on the outside. The pool was out of order and the room was filthy.

The property was old and rundown. After we checked in and they gave us our keys, our door would not open. The woman at the desk told us the battery was going dead on our door lock and she said she would have it replaced. She never did and when we came back that evening at 10:45, our door would not open. She told us she would open the door and let us in, but basically then we would be locked in our room And if we came out, we would get locked out. So that to me was unacceptable and we had to have the manager come at 11 o’clock at night and come in our room and completely change out the lock. It just was a total disaster and not what you wanna do after a long day outside. I would never come to this property again. Horrible experience.

We had reserved a non-smoking room months ago, but were forced to take a smoking room because it was the only one left and they were full for the night. The clerk offered to let us check out the room before paying. The door to the room was open, and there were dirty towels on the sidewalk. It was after 11 pm, and we were exhausted, so we had to take the room. We also had received an email around 8 pm asking about our check-in experience, but we had not checked in yet. Just before 10 pm, we received an email stating our reservation had been cancelled. When we called, we were told our credit card did not go through. We were assured our room was still available, and we could provide a different card. We were never offered compensation for having to take a smoking room, not having our room open, and the towels were still on the sidewalk when we left. There were also discarded tires stacked in the parking lot. We had stayed at this hotel two weeks prior and had a positive experience.

Overall a good place to sleep. Very quiet and lots of parking. Easy access to the hotel. Bed linens were clean. Shower works good great hot water. Shower room very cramped and door doesn’t close, but it works for a night stay. Would come back.

The property seemed run down. There were broken windows, pool was not open, as it had the cover on it. Room had multiple maintenance issues (broken toilet paper holder, dirty shower exhaust vent, stained walls and bedding.) The biggest disappointment was the breakfast, or lack there of. One over ripe banana and one apple, a couple honey buns, sliced bread and cereal. See photos.

Loud party in the lower parking lot, started about 11 pm lasted till 2:30 am. Lots of people outside our room talking real loud and music so loud it was vibrating the walls. Called front desk she said she couldn't leave to check it out. I believe it was the maintenance man she said he lived down there.

Room was dirty. Dirty walls and dirty bathtub. Towels were not completely dry. No one came by to clean room after first day. No one brought extra towels or anything. Called the front office several times and no one answered. There was no room phone. Batteries in remote control were dead.

The room was super dirty, sheets had stuff on them. Shower was dirty and there was a space between the shower faucet and the wall where water can get in and grow mold. The chair in the room was so gross that they needed to throw it out. I would like my money back. I told the front desk the next morning and they really did not care.

Room was supposed to be wheelchair accessible could barely even get the wheelchair in the room. Could not even get into the bathroom room stunk like marijuana hair on the bathroom floor hair in the sink. Will never stay at this place again.

The first ‘non-smoking’ room they put us in smelled like someone had chain smoked in there for a year! The next room had mold growing in the shower/sink area because they used click together plank flooring in a wet area.

Very basic room with filthy furniture, bed bugs and live roaches...OK to be basic but not when it is infested with bugs and no one cares...no maid service, no coffee, no towel replacement...pretty much all bad. The dilapidated ice machine did work good... would have left but it was a big football weekend in Oxford and nothing was available...

Had to stay in Batesville for an Ole Miss baseball weekend due to not being able to find lodging in Oxford. Check in was not good. She was nice enough but I was booked in a room that was still not cleaned. Then I had a hard time getting into the new room. Door seemed jammed. The bathroom shower door was broken. The dryer holder was also broken. The couch was stained. I’ve stayed at other Super 8 properties. This was the worse.

We stayed here for the price during an Ole Miss football game. We have stayed here three other times over the last 12 years. Its literally a place to sleep that doesnt cost over $400 nt in the area. Beds are very small, but comfortable. Small bath area. Rooms are pretty best up but clean. We spent one night and only slept there, we didnt even shower.

So called "free" breakfast was non-existent. They had little available and what they had was old. 1 bagel. When I asked for more they were out. No jelly either. Manager then went to Krogers for more food. THEN I watched them repackage the donuts and bagels individually BUT with their bare hands. No gloves and no washing. Disgusting!! TV didn\'t work and they didn\'t know how to fix. Totally bad experience.

The room was good for one night. We were only there to sleep. The chair was not clean and the door had a big opening in it when you closed it. The dead bolt didn't work right. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk was really nice.

toilet seat broken, smoke detector without battery, shower handle fell off, towel rack pulled out of wall, microwave didn't rotate, A/C filter so filthy that no air could circulate. Had to clean myself to cool room, toilet bowl not bolted to floor, shower without non-skid strips, hand holds, or rubber non slip mat. Accident waiting to happen. Cosmetically updated recently but would not recommend it.

Had to stay in Batesville for an Ole Miss baseball weekend due to not being able to find lodging in Oxford. Check in was not good. She was nice enough but I was booked in a room that was still not cleaned. Then I had a hard time getting into the new room. Door seemed jammed. The bathroom shower door was broken. The dryer holder was also broken. The couch was stained. I’ve stayed at other Super 8 properties. This was the worse.

The staff was great. We had drove all night and got to the hotel around 8:30 Thursday morning. They were kind enough to let us check in at that time. Was so grateful for it. We were soooo tried.

My CC# changed in between booking this hotel and my arrival date (was booked months in advance). Apparently the owner called me about this detail while I was flying to Memphis and left a message stating that my reservation would be canceled before I even got off the plane! When I arrived the woman working the desk was kind enough to fortunately find me a room but at the rate of that time, not the rate I booked the room through expedia. I spoke with the owner the next morning about this and she told me that she'd correct it when she got to it later that day. Nope. Charged at the higher rate and nothing was ever credited back.

We had reserved a non-smoking room months ago, but were forced to take a smoking room because it was the only one left and they were full for the night. The clerk offered to let us check out the room before paying. The door to the room was open, and there were dirty towels on the sidewalk. It was after 11 pm, and we were exhausted, so we had to take the room. We also had received an email around 8 pm asking about our check-in experience, but we had not checked in yet. Just before 10 pm, we received an email stating our reservation had been cancelled. When we called, we were told our credit card did not go through. We were assured our room was still available, and we could provide a different card. We were never offered compensation for having to take a smoking room, not having our room open, and the towels were still on the sidewalk when we left. There were also discarded tires stacked in the parking lot. We had stayed at this hotel two weeks prior and had a positive experience.

We stayed here for the price during an Ole Miss football game. We have stayed here three other times over the last 12 years. Its literally a place to sleep that doesnt cost over $400 nt in the area. Beds are very small, but comfortable. Small bath area. Rooms are pretty best up but clean. We spent one night and only slept there, we didnt even shower.

Overall a good place to sleep. Very quiet and lots of parking. Easy access to the hotel. Bed linens were clean. Shower works good great hot water. Shower room very cramped and door doesn’t close, but it works for a night stay. Would come back.

Unbearable smell of cigarette smoke, bed coverlet had cigarette burn holes. We ended up at the property after a date mixup for Ole Miss graduation weekend. It was the only place I could find otherwise we would have left!

So called "free" breakfast was non-existent. They had little available and what they had was old. 1 bagel. When I asked for more they were out. No jelly either. Manager then went to Krogers for more food. THEN I watched them repackage the donuts and bagels individually BUT with their bare hands. No gloves and no washing. Disgusting!! TV didn\'t work and they didn\'t know how to fix. Totally bad experience.

Well.. pretty sure we all got a contact High upon entering our room. Our pullout sofa’s mattress looked like it had been the scene of either a toddler being toilet trained, or a horrific accident that had been attempted to be covered up. And the free breakfast was basically non existent. You get what you pay for. But honestly the price is isn’t worth it. I’d rather sleep in my car.

The property seemed run down. There were broken windows, pool was not open, as it had the cover on it. Room had multiple maintenance issues (broken toilet paper holder, dirty shower exhaust vent, stained walls and bedding.) The biggest disappointment was the breakfast, or lack there of. One over ripe banana and one apple, a couple honey buns, sliced bread and cereal. See photos.

Staff was great we only had contact with the one lady at the front desk but she was very nice. The beds were very comfortable thoes were the only good things. The room smelt so bad I can not even describe the smell almost musty, old cigarette smoke and maybe BO i dont know but it was bad. The floors were not carpeted (like pictures) but a lamineet, flooring and it was very dirty like they had not swept in a good few weeks and if they did they just pushed the dirt and dead bugs against the walls and into corners. I had read a lot of good reviews but the 2 rooms we had were bad! Big gaps at the bottom of the doors that big beetles and other bugs crawled in over the night. Dirt on the walls that were not cleaned. No soap by the sink at all so you have nothing to wash your hands with after doing your business. They also do not provide breakfast like states on the sight I booked on. They are working on the place so hopefully we were just in non updated rooms. And it looks like they may be puting in a pool

The room was very dirty. The curtains wouldn't close all the way I had to hang towels. There was mildew on the curtains, floor dirty, phone dirty, cabinets was dirty and the room stunk very badly.
