We love staying at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the area is safe. Breakfast is delicious. The amenities are nice. It's a nice pet friendly hotel with very clean rooms. The staff was wonderful!

We went to check in and asked when the pool was open. They said the pool was closed for maintenance. The whole reason we booked this hotel was for the pool. Best Western Point South refused to give a refund, and told us to contact hotels.com: they tried contacting the hotel for a refund who refused again. We had to pay for another hotel. Not happy at all.

Ive stayed here twice now and both times i was overall pleased with tge property and rooms. Good breakfast , big televisions and very comfortable beds. My only complaint would be the ice cold indoor pool, but i would still stay there again.

Pool was closed and probably has been for a while. I wish this would list on websites because it is one of the reason we pick a hotel. Bathroom was old. I was really off put by the crooked picture behind the lobby desk when I walked in. Just felt like no one cared. I appreciated it was quiet. beds were clean. Just rather a cold experience overall. Inexpensive for a one night stop.

I traveled for business and 9/10 I have a racing sailboat behind me, so parking is always a consideration and challenge. I was happy to learn they have a dedicated ample trailer parking area. The room was clean and comfortable. The area felt safe.

The inside of the door had a lot of dirty fingerprints. The toilet bowl had a ring of brown at the water line. The carpet had a square cut out area that was placed back. The bed was uncomfortable, and the curtain (that had dirt along the inside seam) didn't block out the outdoor lighting. The room was bright at 4 a.m.

Hotel was clean & bed very comfortable. Indicated it was recently renovated & room appeared to be so, while bathroom was clean, it was somewhat older. Staff were friendly, polite & professional making check in quick & smooth. Lots of working ice machines!! The hot breakfast was much better than average. This will be our new regular stopover!

Nice easy spot to stop along I95. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pool bit looked nice and convenient. Room was adequate for a rest, but a bit noisy with the air conditioner and in room dehumidifier going. Lots of staff busy in the morning working on maintenance and cleaning. Overall a good place to stop and rest for the weary traveler.

Stayed there one night on the way to Florida. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Quiet place next to Highway 95. What I didn't like was that I couldn't darkened the room. The light outside was so bright and the window curtain didn't block the light on edges of the curtain. I couldn't sleep well. The pillows are half of the regular size. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

Bed was terrible. No shampoo. Check in took a long time. Breakfast was gross. No eggs or sausage. Guy was standing there and I had to let him know. No clue how this place has high ratings unless you have no standards.

Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy our stay at Best Western Point South. The AC unit and dehumidifier in the room were extremely loud and ran all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The room also had bright outdoor lighting that the curtains couldn’t block out, which added to the discomfort. The pillows were small, hard, and very uncomfortable. There was a lingering smell of cigarettes around the property, which was unpleasant and gave a rundown impression, even though the room itself was reasonably clean. The front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming or friendly, which added to the overall negative impression. We were hoping for a restful night, but this stay was far from that. Would not recommend.

Very comfortable - clean and newly designed rooms , very spacious - we had taken 2 queen bed room. It was very big - had all appliances you could think of. Modern design furniture, 65 inch large tv as well. All the rooms are newly remodels. Could beat any Hilton or Marriott property

Outside of building is a little dated but the room itself is very modern. Nice big screen television multiple places to plug in your devices. Enough items on the breakfast. Great place for a one night stay but could work for something long term.

Easy check in, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The tv remote was not operating correctly so I called the front desk and a person came within 5 minutes and got it reprogrammed within a minute and all was good. The breakfast included was great! I would recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

2nd time here....wonderful staff, easy check in, no problem about our dog. Definitely will stay again. The receptionist on duty at 530 pm was pleasant, knowledgeable and helped us get a wonderful room. Great place...easy on and easy off I95.

Checkin took almost 1 hour because the clerk didn't show up for work and the engineer had to call in a substitute. I stayed for only one night and my checkin was way after midnight, however, they didn't budge on a $48 resort charge for using the pool that didn't open before 10 am. The whole place is in bad shape and seems unkept. Very strong smell of mildew in the room and one of the worst matresses that I layed my head on. Unforunately, misrepresented on Hotel.com's website.

Our family had a wonderful stay it was close to where our son was graduating from Parris Island Marine Corps. The staff was friendly. There was some confusion on some pending transactions but they took care of them quickly. I would recommend staying at this location.

Worst experience ever. I got denied at check in because I’m 21. I showed them there policy stating you have to be 21. They claimed i have to be over 21 and wouldn’t let me in. Front desk staff is profoundly dumb.

very good to place to stop if traveling with a dog. Room to walk on property as well as on adjacent land. The place is being fixed up and rooms are quite comfortable. Not a great location if looking for food choices other than fast food. Very convenient location.

Impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. So convenient for traveling on 95. Not much in the area but we didn’t need much. We will definitely stay on our next trip South.

Staff was friendly and room was relatively clean. Tub/Shower had plumbing issues and the area was kind of shady, which is probably why they had a so many security cameras. The restaurant was closed/under construction. The parking lot was full of large shipping containers and the majority of people staying there were construction workers.

This is not a "hotel", this is a MOTEL. When we checked in, we were told we had booked a "pet" room which was not the case. Our room stunk like dog! The restaurant on premises was "temporarily" closed. We were looking forward to a nice dinner after traveling all day and were very disappointed. The rooms to this motel had outside doors, they were not inside the building like a hotel. Our room door looked like someone tried to open it with a crow bar and it was poorly repaired. There was a car on "blocks" in the parking lot on our drive to the back of the property where our room was. The king size bed mattress was very worn and lumpy. We had 4 very small bed pillows on the bed instead of king size pillows. We could not wait to leave the next morning. Did not even bother to use the shower.

Hotel was clean & bed very comfortable. Indicated it was recently renovated & room appeared to be so, while bathroom was clean, it was somewhat older. Staff were friendly, polite & professional making check in quick & smooth. Lots of working ice machines!! The hot breakfast was much better than average. This will be our new regular stopover!

This motel appears to be going downhill fast. We chose it because it advertised as having a restaurant. The restaurant was completely closed with dirty linens piled up on the floor and in complete disarray. The room was in need of updating to say the least. There were two air conditioners on the floor, because one wasn’t working? Or perhaps the portable one was a dehumidifier…why? The mattress was not deep. The front desk clerk was seemingly bored. The breakfast was minimal. We will never return.

Prior to this morning I would have given a higher rating to this hotel but not so much at present. I prepaid for the room through Expedia when I made the reservation which the hotel honored on check in. Today My bank statement shows the hotel charged me an additional night's stay the day after I checked out. I did not use any additional services while there and did not stay past my scheduled time. I did not do any damage to the room nor did I remove anything from the room that wasn't mine. I have contacted the hotel directly and stated the issues and they stated they will get back to me. This was now several hours ago. Not happy at this point in time.

Indoor pool is very dirty and the water was completely still and smelled like mildew. It is basically an unmaintained, unheated outdoor pool that is inside a big building you access from the courtyard outside. Dogs are very welcome, they are everywhere. Easy quick stop with my dog if I was single but the problem is we also have a 3 year old and the room was less than clean. I felt less than safe walking my dog in the parking lot side as there were a lot of men hanging out smoking cigarettes and staring at me and my daughter. So we walked in the courtyard on the grass but encountered pups everywhere we turned. The carpet in our room 147 was shredded in a few spots and the room was grimy and very dated. The electrical was redone using raceways instead of being hidden in the walls, so even though I am sure it’s to code it gave me anxiety knowing that the next door neighbor left their dog in the room while they went to dinner and they sounded like the dog was chewing on the wall. I just kept hoping it wasn’t chewing the raceway. Daughter and I were disappointed by the pool because I wouldn’t let her go in it after I saw it.
