Staff was amazing as usual. The room was cleaner than previous stays. I stay here every time I am in Rocky Mount. The only complaint I have is with the shower! The hot and cold is backwards and could be extremely dangerous and needs addressed before someone is scalded! I turned the hot water on and let it run for several minutes and it never got hot so I messed with it then realized that when I turned it to cold it got very hot very fast! If someone was to get into this shower first THEN turn the water on, it could end up bad. Thankfully, I get my water to temp before getting in the shower! THIS NEEDS FIXED IMMEDIATELY!!

The room was incredibly musty smelling, even though it was visually clean. I was only staying 1 night so I dealt with it, but more than that and I would have had to go somewhere else. Decided not to swim in the pool, it was very slimy and green looking. The breakfast was visually ok but tasted off. The coffee was ok.

The room was clean. The staff is polite. Breakfast is sufficient. Parking is better earlier and can fill up in the later hours. Overall good property and staff. The only thing I would mention to staff is this is the third stay where I had to request extra bath towels and wash cloths because the room was stocked with only a single set. Other than that I use this hotel frequently with good experiences.
