Overall, you can tell the hotel is trying to create.l good experience for the price. For the price and location it’s perfectly good. We didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel, but there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. The breakfast isn’t great to looks at, but there are 5 breakfast joints right nearby. The beds were clean. The room cooled easily enough, and there were no funny smells in our room. The hotel still does look dated, but for $150 a night in a place where $350 is average it’s fine. They could pay closer attention to detail, the mirrors and shower doors were smudgy, there was some damage in our room that hadn’t been repaired well, just minor cosmetics (but it does impact how you feel about the place). The water stayed hot for a long time, and there was no noise from the hallway or neighbors. if you are looking to save some money and plan to enjoy St. Joseph, this is a good pick.

Based on orher reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. The bed was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean, the room had updated decor, and included a refrigerator. Breakfast was included in our stay too! The only thing I noticed was that the bedroom floor badly needed to be washed. This became apparent when I saw black in the shower from the bottom of my feet.

The room was okay. Balcony door was half off the track and hard to open and close. The facility itself wasnt the cleanest. The room did not feel very clean. The place was okay for a one night stay. The location was great. It was walkable to all of downtown and to the beach.

The property is on the older side and it can use a some tlc with repairs in the rooms. One elevator wouldn’t stop at a particular floor during a very busy holiday weekend. The staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. All the coffee in the room i fortunately was decaf but the free breakfast was great. I have mixed feelings on this place. I guess I would have to say it’s just ok. The best part of it is the proximity to the beach and the shopping area. Would I stay here again, yes. Would I recommend it, yes.
