The top floor offers two charming singles plus a separate shower room—perfect for children thanks to limited head height. One well behaved dog is warmly welcomed at Ivy Cottage. Staveley offers an authentic Lake District escape without the crowds. Set between Kendal and Windermere, the village lies where the River Kent meets the peaceful Kentmere Valley—perfect for walkers, cyclists, and food lovers. Enjoy a riverside stroll toward Kentmere Reservoir or pick up the Dales Way as it threads through meadows and bluebell filled woodland. Cyclists relish the quiet lanes and testing climbs; hire bikes or get route tips from one of the UK's largest independent cycle stores, right in the village.
