I had reserved two rooms through Hotels.com but on arrival, I was told that only room had been reserved. While there were rooms available, I was told I could not get the same rate as given by Hotels.com. Very frustrating. Also, know that the race track across the street has not seen a race in six years. While the property was ok, I will not go back there. I chose this hotel because of the great rate, Ramada crediabilty and that it was a near a race track; I guess I was expecting to much. Breakfast was terrible.

Beds and towels were stained and dirty upon arrival, lamp shade by the bed was covered in mold, only one table on one side the bed, everything is super dated and damp, Ac was set to 60 upon entering the room. Towel rack in bathroom is hanging on my a singular wall screw. If I could get my money back I would.

This hotel is in an area that has been economically destroyed by the closing of the Kentucky Speedway. Thus, the hotel appears to have suffered from a lack of maintenance and attention. The road leading up the hill to the hotel is poorly maintained and very dark at night. The small towel bar above the sink came down off the wall. It was being held by only one screw on the side that had pulled out of the wall. The fabric on the arm of the desk chair was torn. The bed was ok. There was no hot water to make hot tea in the morning. The price was very reasonable. I do feel sorry for the owners or managers: they are making a go of it with nowhere near the amount of business they probably once had.
