Oxford Suites Spokane Valley

We overnighted during a road trip. Relative to rival brands, Oxford offered additional services including afternoon complimentary drinks and snacks. The excercise room was equipped with clean and well maintained cardio equipment. We did not use the indoor pool, spa, and sauna as it was occupied by a zoo of kids. Special thanks to Angel who maintained the breakfast room, and proactively took care of the guests: bravo.

This hotel offered everything- a fabulous room, free breakfast, welcome reception, free convenient parking, walkable to restaurants across the road, free sauna and steam room, and friendly staff. And a very reasonable price. You can’t go wrong!

Staff was very friendly and efficient. We used the complementary bicycles to ride the trail and it was great. I used the gym and it was clean and all equipment worked.

Pool was out of order. Had to leave as description was family friendly and pool. Awful. How hard is it to update the site????

Disappointed that the pool was closed. The view of the river was beautiful. A very nice hotel. Guests should be notified ahead of check in if the pool will not be operational during their stay. That is one of the amenities that we pay for.

The stay was fine. They advertise mixed drinks in the room and in the elevator. The “Bistro”. It has been closed since Covid. They do have beer and wine. The appetizers are horrible. Made in a microwave. The bartender was super friendly. Breakfast was above average. Service was good. Bed was very comfortable.

Pros- abundance of parking spaces, near a mall and restaurants, has a pool and hot tub, complimentary breakfast and evening drinks, friendly staff

Our restroom had a “pee” smell to it as soon as we walked in and it didn’t seem properly serviced, the lid on the toilet seat also looked very old, and burned?? Our room was on the lowest floor, the room above us was very loud and rowdy, we called the front desk and it was handled. So kudos to the staff, they were friendly. We just won’t be staying here again due to lack of cleanliness.

Cleanliness for this hotel was 0/10. When we first checked in and got into the room we pulled back the duvet and there were long black hairs all over the sheets and blood on the duvet. The door to the bathroom had hand prints all over, the carpet in the room was absolutely disgusting would not recommend walking around without shoes or the bottoms of your feet will be black. Overall very dirty which was really disappointing considering the nightly rate. Probably won’t be staying here again.

This place is consistently so clean and comfortable!!!! The staff are always very kind and efficient. It is a favorite stay for cleanliness and bed comfort. Pillows are amazing

Old food was in the mini fridge and the king bed blankets dirty. Hotel is clearly dealing with being understaffed and did the best they could. Besides the room not having been clean our stay was great and the staff was incredibly friendly.

The Oxford Spokane Valley was a fantastic experience! We stayed two nights for a weekend event. The location is super convenient. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and just seemed happy to be there. It was a really nice change from some other places e have stayed where people act like they hate their jobs. But not at the Oxford! They all seemed to genuinely enjoy their place of employment. The hotel was very clean (and trust me I’m picky about cleanliness!), the bed was super comfortable, and the pool/spa/sauna were in good shape and clean as well. The breakfast experience was great too. The food was delicious and Angel warmly greeted every guest as they walked in for breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean, albeit a bit dated. And the television was not awesome but I wasn’t there to watch TV. Great experience and will definitely be back.

Dirty. Floor was dirty, ice bucket was dirty. Missing a coffee cup , asked for another, said they would bring it, never did. Breakfast was not food.

Spacious suite-style room was attractively decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of usual breakfast options as well as fresh fruits daily.

Surprised by the ratings because this was not our experience. Not a terrible hotel but definitely the reviews were not our experience. Staff were not welcoming or rude, just indifferent. Rooms were loud. You could hear everything outside your door and above you. Paid for riverside but got a view of a pool that is getting renovated. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of parking.

VERY comfortable bed, nice breakfast, cheerful staff. The only negative was spotty internet - kept dropping off.

Room was ok. Service staff were friendly. The main issue to drop my rating is because this hotel had the WORST internet service of any hotel I have stayed in within the past 5 years, possibly ever. No reason in this day and age that I should have a 1300ms response time to Google.com along with dropped packets. I couldn’t get any work done and had to go to Starbucks instead. Could barely use my phone for email and my iPad for YouTube in the evenings. Horrible.

The rooms ate decent size however, the decore is dated. The sofa, table, and chair look like they came from a college dorm in the 1980's. Tv is about 10 to 15 years behind. Not able to synce cell phone to tv to watch better shows. Tv has basic cable, no Hulu, Netflix, or Max etc. At 3PM, the 10 year old LAB comes to work with his owner. He is a sweet dog, has his treats there you can give him. Owner is really nice, very helpfull. Breakfast is hot, eggs, sausage, and potato side. Typical bread sides, waffles, and juices.

Very quiet and peaceful, newly built or renovated rooms, good breakfast, spacious living space.

Large rooms. Complimentary evening drink. Best of all, the rooms facing the rear have great view of the river and woods...almost like being in nature.

First night was great. No room clean second Day which is fine. But i did ask for clean towels several times. The maid was on my floor when i headed to pool so i set dirty towels out in front of door. Thinking she would replace with clean. She did not I asked at front desk even said i didnt mind just grabbing some. No towels. Called down again no towels. So sunday morning had a shower with no towels. Their remedy was "sorry they would look into it." I think at 220 a night towels should be expected. Day day whifh js fine

The hotel is good however front desk gals need to be more friendly and upbeat. Felt discriminated race wise. The maintenance gentleman was nice though.

The front staff was great on check in. They accommodated our request for higher level. Room was not as clean as normally - tv stand was broken and tv was tilting to the side and if you touched it, it felt like it was going to fall off we put a cup under it to hold it in one spot. the counters were sticky and there was a sock in the closet evening reception was great and great staff on heading out the next day, we asked if our room would be cleaned up and the front staff said that they would make sure it was - i watched as she entered something into the computer (the only reason I asked is that when we were there a week ago - our room did not get cleaned on the second day and we were told that "we had not requested it" I have never done this before, at this hotel or any other hotel. Used to be if you did NOT want your room done you left a sign on the door or you let the front know that you did not want it done. Regardless, I wanted it done and that is why I stopped at the front desk before leaving for the day. This did NOT HAPPEN. we came back to the room not done. When I called the front, I was told "oh well I guess they were busy or did not get the message" I asked if it could get done now and was told that everyone had left for the day. She said she would send some up to empty garbage, bring towels, coffee, etc. A gentleman came up with towels only and left. I was shocked when we went to check in that if you are checking in at all before the stated time they charge an extra $35! Of course we declined as we were only 1/2 hour early. Not impressed by this attempt at charging the client more money.

The front desk woman was very nice and gave me a wonderfully quiet room upon request. I did have a small bowl of the chicken soup and I can't lie, it was pretty bad. But it was free and that is a nice feature of your hotel. The bartender also gave me a very nice pour of wine and it was much appreciated after a long day of travel and work! My room was very clean too. I will be back :o)

Easy on and off Freeway. Many food options and shopping within walking distance. We paid a little extra for the river view and it was worth it! Complimentary wine at night and wonderful breakfast in the morning!

Clean & very comfortable. Convenient location - easy access to I-90, nearby restaurants, and there's a trail along the river right behind the property.

Love this chain. Always clean, nice beds, comp wine, next to Spokane Valley mall, and 15 min from down town. 2 min from the freeway. love it.

My favorite hotel to stay at. It’s always comfortable, clean, and a great stay away from home. Breakfast is always amazing!

This was the first mediocre breakfast we have had in the last 20 years of staying at Oxford Suites. Suggestion that if ‘live action’ pancakes are made just make them plain don’t that apple and cinnamon is going to taste great in a cold cake. One more thing use warm water to mix pancake batter. It helps them to rise easier and taste great. Keep up the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff.

Evening food: need to upgrade your soups. Every time we’ve been there this needs to improve. Breakfast is great.

I would definitely stay again at this property and encourage all my friends to do the same. Excellent services and convenience. Loved the guest complimentary beverage and the excellent breakfast. Dining on the deck was superb!

We were pleasantly surprised that after check in , we were treated to a complimentary beverage and soup and salad bar. There were also appetizers available for purchase. The breakfast buffer was also very good and service was excellent.

Super clean, nice breakfast and evening buffet.

We did not enjoy the breakfast, the eggs were watery, the sausage was dried out and bland.
