Our room smelled very musty. When we went into the pool, the first step was slimy and I fell and hit my lower back on the metal railing. They have around the pool. I’ve had a bruise across my lower back since.

Stayed here a couple weeks ago and back again on return trip. Great for families with young children as pool is 2.5-3ft deep. Clean property, beds confortable, typical amenities. Includes breakfast.

Overall it was a good stay. Beds, counters, chairs, etc were generally clean, entire building could use a deep cleaning and just a little more maintenance. Elevator certification was out of date. Felt very safe. Pool was cold. Breakfast was OK, staff was very friendly.

Great location easy access just a few minute drive to all the Springfield Attractions, pool was open and shallow (ie perfect for my young family). Clean, quiet, comfortable.

The room was nice and clean. The pool was very dangerous. I was with my 5yr old son and the depth of the pool was only 3fr 2 in. We stepped in and immediatly slipped and fell. My son was no able to grip the floor to stand and could have drowned due to the extreamly slick surface of the bottom. I fell on my hip and he cut up his foot trying to stand up. Very dangurous

The only downside is there was no parking left when we got there. Even if we were a single vehicle there was no space and we came with a truck pulling a small utility trailer. The manager did tell us we could park at the 24 hr IHop but we were a little nervous about that but all was fine in the morning.

Staff was very friendly. Our room wasn't very clean, had something that looked like dogfood on the floor that wasn't vacuumed up and there was hair in the bathroom. Was cheaper than the other hotels in the area but there was a reason for that. We will not be returning to this hotel

The smell was absolutely horrible. It smelled like animals were peeing in the building. Bathroom had hair and a used bar of soap in it. I had to beg for fresh towels. The cleaning tried to make me go to the front desk for towels but I insisted on fresh towels and she finally gave them to me.

I booked a queen suite , but end up getting a queen room that was really really small and it also had blood stains on the walls on the nightstand and walking out of the room. It looks as if it had blood on the carpet they did accommodate me and gave me a bigger room which I should’ve had in the first place, and that room was clean, but just the overall smell of the hotel stunk in the hallways on the elevator, they barely had a breakfast that was included just overall bad experience.

The staff at this hotel are truly wonderful and very helpful. During my first stay, the room was not cleaned properly—there was even trash left behind from the previous guest. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, and the woman there was extremely helpful and immediately moved me to a different room. On my second visit, I was given a better room, though it hadn’t been dusted. It was manageable, so I didn’t raise any issues. However, during my third stay, the room again had not been dusted, and the bed sheets were noticeably unclean and had an unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, due to these recurring cleanliness issues, I’ve decided not to return.

Excellent service and hotel was clean. Breakfast was ok not many options though. Room was clean but unfortunately a really bad mildew smell. Even after the front desk kindly found a dehumidifier it still was strong. Also fan in bathroom didn’t work at all.

Very basic. Needs updating however beds were comfortable. Breakfast option were carbohydrates. Hard boiled eggs and peanut butter only protein available. Thin walls. We were awakened to loud talking and laughing from the room Next door at 3:30 am and then at 5 am the room on the other side were opening and closing zippers on their suitcases over and over again until they finally left.

double queen beds room: overall nice & comfortable. Bath shows a slight amount of wear. Solid place to stay- good AC which was nice since it was very hot outside. Offered a 10% discount to several restaurants that were close.

It was clean and we were able to check in early. I didn’t like the fact that we were supposed to get a queen bed, but got a full bed. I didn’t say anything because my husband was exhausted and needed a nap immediately.

The room had broken knobs on the climate control system and it had to have been 85 degrees in the room. There was no way to adjust it. The smoke detector was hanging by wires from the ceiling. The condition of the room was poor in general. Neighboring room was playing loud music until the late hours of the evening. As much as I didn’t want to complain, I finally gave in and called the front desk. The lady was very accommodating and relocated me to an upgraded room.

The remote for the TV was problematic...hard to start it. There were no hooks to hang towels or bathrobes in the bathroom. There were no electric outlets near the head of the bed to charge phones, use other lighting. Did not like the mirror wall or the lighting in the room. No coffee maker or microwave in the room. Access to the coffee at breakfast was great/easy but could/would have used a microwave (not sure if one was available in the breakfast area). If so, please disregard any comments on the microwave - I never asked about it. Bathtub was very slippery. Otherwise - the bed was VERY comfortable.

The room served its purpose for a one-night stay. The bathtub faucet was sloppy, loose-fitting inside the wall, and the diverter handle would not activate the shower head without some finagling. I'm surprised the faucet stayed attached & didn't leak inside the wall (or did it?). Also, the shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty. An additional shampoo/conditioner dispenser was mounted next to the sink(!?) The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not operate, causing the room to become completely steamed up after two of us showered.

Pleasantly surprised at the level of care, cleanliness, and overall condition for this Microtel. Felt like I was at a Hilton. I saved this in my list so I can stay here again next time I come through! The staff was amazing! Attentive and caring, very nice. Thank you for the stay and the care!

We were in town for our sister's funeral. As soon as we arrived the staff was warm and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was awesome with providing us with some nice restaurants that were close by. We agreed that we would stay here again if in the area.

This hotel was clean, safe and super convenient. It was close to shopping and public transportation. There were also a number of restaurants within walking distance that offer a discount if you show your room key. Overall, a good stay and I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby is updated and bright, the room was large and with a comfortable bed. The TV has streaming options which was a nice touch. Location is great with a lot of dining options within walking distance and many offer a discount if you show your key card. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was conveniently located and at a reasonable cost. The breakfast was average, however the amount available was slim and to be out of milk made the limited offering of cereal even less an option. The area to eat was spread out and ok, but spilled food, on the floor, wasn't cleaned up in the half hour I was there. Another disappointing aspect was the lack of a freezer section in the room's mini fridge. It might be happening more often in hotels, but it's nice to be able to re-freeze freezer packs to keep some items cold in continued travel.

The only downside is there was no parking left when we got there. Even if we were a single vehicle there was no space and we came with a truck pulling a small utility trailer. The manager did tell us we could park at the 24 hr IHop but we were a little nervous about that but all was fine in the morning.

Very basic. Needs updating however beds were comfortable. Breakfast option were carbohydrates. Hard boiled eggs and peanut butter only protein available. Thin walls. We were awakened to loud talking and laughing from the room Next door at 3:30 am and then at 5 am the room on the other side were opening and closing zippers on their suitcases over and over again until they finally left.

The room was clean and nice. My only thing was the free "breakfast" I'm not a kid. I don't eat waffles or cereal. What a joke. Offer adult food as well.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room cleanliness wise was overall good. I did find a toothpick and an open bar of soap in our room, but besides that we were comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice. Besides the waffle maker, it was all cold oriented food.

Its usually quiet which we appreciate. The sofa bedding is never ready in the room and I've had to ask for it yearly. Its clean and mostly stocked. Breakfast is ok, but could have more options and more timely supply. The staff changes a lot and need more training. We would stay again tho.

The room was nice. The only thing was there was a strange smell. It wasn’t anything unbearable but just a little different. The staff was helpful and helped us get out of a jam with our previous hotel, so all things considered we really enjoyed our stay.
