You'll find Oscar's Pad at the end of a residential street with a private driveway to park up and unpack your belongings. Kick off your shoes in the porch and be welcomed by a pretty sitting room with white beams, two cushioned sofas and a TV for hosting movie nights by the gentle glow of the woodburning stove. Rustle up home-cooked meals in the beautifully-appointed kitchen/diner, with attractive wooden countertops, stylish flooring and essential amenities for your self-catering holiday, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a washing machine to quickly clean muddy clothes! A spacious king size bedroom awaits you after the day's adventures, looking across luscious countryside views, and a twin for guests to rest their heads. Bring your bikes to cycle along Anglesey's stunning coast thanks to a handy outbuilding with storage space! When it's time to venture outside, Brynsiencyn is a delightful village boasting incredible views over the Menai Straits with the mountain range of Snowdonia in sight; stock up in the village shop, dine in the traditional pub or head further afield to explore more of this spectacular island. Jump in the car and head to Beaumaris, a captivating seaside town to stroll along the pier for outstanding mountain and sea views, marvel at the ruins of the town's 13th-century castle, or wander the streets to spot a variety of architecture, from medieval to Victorian, hosting a range of independent traders. Sun-seekers will find plenty of sandy beaches to spend the day paddling the shores or trekking coastal paths, such as the expansive Traeth Llanddwyn south west of the island, whilst the unspoilt sands of Lligwy Beach lie in the north east. The popular town of Holyhead is a short journey away from Oscar's Pad for a variety of pubs and restaurants, the picturesque St Cybi's Church and Ucheldre Centre, Anglesey's community arts centre. Find excellent coastal walks and opportunities for birdwatching in Breakwater Country Park, a former rock quarry where visitors can also fish in the lake. Cross the Menai Bridge to explore North Wales, such as Caernarfon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site hosting Wales' most famous castle, as well as the scenic Welsh Highland Railway and Lôn Eifion recreational cycle route. Snowdonia National Park is also within reach for breath-taking mountain trails across diverse landscapes.
