Longhouse Lodge Motel

Nice size clean rooms, plenty of parking. trailer parking on the rear of the hotel is a big plus. Nice clean pool. Access to the hotel from the opposite side of the divided highway was my only concern. Very difficult at night until you get used to it. A light at the base of the drive way would help locate the access point.

Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Love the ceiling fan. Bathroom was updated and clean. Nice tv. Plenty of counter room. Nice refrigerator. Gazebo was beautiful. Pool was nice and clean. We would absolutely recommend this motel.

Property has regular motel rooms clean but in need of renovations and the Manor. I usually stay at the later which is quite upscale. Great location and easy parking. Nice pool and pleasant staff.

We like to support Mom & Pop Hotels. The location was awesome. The Office wreaked of cigarettes and did not say welcome. The heated outdoor pool, gazebo, and rockers were the best part. The beds, blankets, & pillows were old. Despite a smell in the room, it was clean!! The breakfast was simple but appreciated. However, we did not return to the Office b/c of the smell.

La struttura nel complesso è carina ma secondo me non vale i soldi spesi. Colazione praticamente inesistente (nonostante l'ìnsegna reciti "Continental Breakfast")solo caffè e merendine confezionate. Spazio all'esterno molto carino e Watkins Glen raggiungibile in 3 minuti di auto.Buona la piscina con anche asciugamani a disposizione. Basterebbe migliorare la colazione per dare un valore aggiunto.

This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. If you want a clean, safe, convenient hotel, go here. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, but dated. They service the room every day! And restock your coffee! The wifi is iffy, but I think that’s a Glen problem, not theirs. Our fire stick only had some lagging. The breakfast is packaged muffins, which was great for us as we grabbed and went to WGI. Want a full spread? Go to one of the diners a 3 minute drive into town. Pool was clean, a rarity among higher priced chain motels even. Your kids will love it. We already made plans to stay for the 2026 6 Hours. The place is amazingly close to WGI. Did I mention the friendly staff?

Staff were pleasant and it was very close to the park and town. Nice sunset.Room did have a musty odour but it didn’t bother us since we were only there for one night.

smells like sewer and excessively musty. had to call for a ride out of here at 2AM, it was so bad.

The interior needs a full make over - my friends has blood stains on their sheets. I had used soap and hair in my shower. They did give my friends another room.

I stayed in the King bed suite with our dog. It was very spacious and well equipped with recliners, table and chairs, desk, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was a bit dated but it was clean and the price was good. There was no breakfast available but we brought our own and used the microwave for heating.

If your looking for a nice-sized, clean, comfortable room, with friendly staff, at a reasonable price, this is your hotel. It's old-style, and not posh, but nice.

It was a rustic property and easier on the budget than the surrounding competing properties. Front desk service was kind and attentive. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, and what was labeled as a continental breakfast was only a prepackaged danish.

The surface was clean BUT the carpeting was filthy. There was no screen on back window preventing getting a cross breath to alleviate the very musty spell when first entering room. Had 4 pillows - 2 were filthy. Had there been pillow covers, not just pillow cases, that could be changed there may not have been that issue. The water control in bathroom and shower need fixing/updating.No plug for tub so can’t use as a tub. Curtains dirty and falling off tract. At least shower curtain was clean and towels were very plush. Towels were replaced and bed made daily. The filter on the air conditioner, the controls, and freezer were dirty. Continental bfst. was store bought powdered donuts or a muffin with coffee. Really !!!

Everything went great until the next morning when we woke up to NO water in any of the rooms. When I went to speak with someone at the front desk, there was a note saying that they had experienced a broken pipe. If it were not for the NO water I would have gave a great rating. Room was super clean and orderly.

The most surprising feature was how quiet the rooms were at night. You couldn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms, not even a TV or shower sound. The Lodgehouse is a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

At check in the young lady was very sweet and courteous. The room was clean, although had a bit of a musty “old motel room” odor. It was not enough to cause distress, just a little off putting. The mattress was old, started to feel the uncomfortable poking of springs when laying in one position for too long. The bathroom needs the most work, chipped paint and raw wood edges at the sink counter, covered in some places with globs of calk. The shower pressure was excellent, although the very narrow styled tub itself had us fighting the shower curtain off our bodies while trying to lather and rinse. I believe a bowed out shower rod would be a great solution. The in wall AC unit is extremely loud, going on and off in the night woke us up every time. However, with the motel so close to Route 14, the noises AC unit may have been why we heard no cars or trucks at all. There is a good sized gap on the underside of the AC unit, I could see the grass outside. This did not give a very private feeling when coming in or out of the bathroom, and probably caused much of the on and off activity of the AC unit. The last morning we were there, I killed a Silverfish on the bathroom wall, and couldn’t get comfortable in the room anymore. We had already done what we made the trip for, so we left a day early to come home. With SO many other options in and around Watkin’s Glen, we are opting not to stay at this motel again.

The motel was definitely not a top rated place. The Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent and slow and the rooms did not have any USB or charging ports for phones or iPads.

Didnt have any interactions with staff other then checking in and that went fine. Other then that it was disappointing for the price i paid (over $200). The beds are horrible, its like trying to sleep on a beanbag . My upper body sank lower then my lower body, and the mattress is wrapped in plastic. So whenever you moved it made a loud noise. Was able to get about 2 hours sleep and my back is killing me. Other than that its just a worn-out motel sadly

Clean, quiet and comfortable for a family. Exactly as advertised and expected. Very friendly staff. Pool was heated and great for kids.

Nice guy at office

The staff was pleasant enough, however one day I returned to my room and housekeeping had not been there. It was about 3pm. I went to the office and they said someone would be right there. I left the room to let them do their thing. When I returned, their thing was to make the bed - kinda. Nothing else. No vacuum, no towels, no normal sprucing up that you would expect.

If your looking for a nice-sized, clean, comfortable room, with friendly staff, at a reasonable price, this is your hotel. It's old-style, and not posh, but nice.

Very disappointed! The room was very dirty, mostly dusty and had a very musty smell. The bed was awful and one of the beds had a bunch of debris in it. Not sure what it was. I went to take a shower and the water wouldn't get hot. The cold was hot and hot was cold. A little note would have been helpful. We tried talking to the manager upon check out but she wasn't in. They said she would call but we haven't heard a thing.

A simple roadside motel not far from Watkins Glen village center

Hotel in a convenient location and beds were comfortable. The pool looked nice but didn’t have a chance to go in.

The property is conveniently located to Watkins Glen and the lake area. It's a very basic motor lodge, but that's all we needed.

Very nice place, only issu was the "breakfast included". The breakfast they provide was hostess sinle wrapped danishes, muffin and mini donuts. No fruit, bagel, eggs, toast, nothing but the pre packaged sugary treats. Orher than that, was a very nice, spacious room.

This was a great little roadside motel just north of Watkins Glen. Staff was friendly. Older property but that’s what made it fun. Pulled up right to the room door (had actual keys). The interior of the room could be updated some but it was totally fine for one night. Breakfast is basic grab-n-go baked goods. I would stay there again without a doubt.
