The front desk staff are super friendly and professional. They even called my room about 40 minutes after check in to make sure the room was satisfactory. The pool is beautiful with a nice view. Everything is clean and quiet even on 4th of July weekend. The bathroom is ridiculously small but that's my only complaint.

Clerks were nice and helpful, Breakfast was good. The Hot Tub is shut down, and was told it will NEVER be back on. The clerk told me because of problems with Health Dept?! We chose this motel because it is advertised as having a Hot Tub. We NEVER would have booked this hotel otherwise. Also hall ways were very dirty, ie. look like styrofoam all over floor.

The staff were very nice and helpful. I was thrown through a loop that there was no elevator. Online said there was a hot tub, so the kids were disappointed there wasn't (but they did enjoy the heated pool. The room with the pool is strangely cold though). The breakfast was pretty good, though the breakfast area was pretty small. Room itself was pretty small, but overall clean (did find a weird hand smear on one of the lights though). Not a horrible place to stay, not much around it though. Definitely need to plan driving about 10 minutes to get to anything (which isn't horrible).

Had a great stay! My kids enjoyed the pool. But I was very disappointed that they had removed the hot tub, it still shows they have it in pictures online :( The breakfast was ok, the eggs were very overcooked and dry but the make you own waffles were delicious. Room was basic room, well kept and clean. Shower and toilet area small but loved the sink and mirror. Would stay there again!

The back doors coming into the building do not lock, any one can come in without a key. The bathrooms smell like urine. The breakfast in the morning did not have any bread of any kind at 7:00. Thankfully we only had to stay one night.

Everything about the stay was good about the facility with the exception of no elevator and we were on the second floor. My husband and I both have medical issues that made it difficult for us to haul all our luggage up to the second floor. The front desk staff and the cleanliness of the facility was very good. I would stay again but definitely get a first floor room!

Room 211 was I terrible shape! There was blood stains on the top sheets of both beds. The floor in the bathroom was heaving up and cracked!! Couldn’t close door!! There was vomit on or blood on back of door in bathroom! The pool at hotel wasn’t heated, when it said it should be heated! No hot tub on premises! Advertised one! Not a good experience at all!

The hotel was a good value. The level of cleanliness though was not good. There was mold growing in fridge and there were empty alcohol containers in the drawers that my 3 year old found. Obviously they don't take cleanibg very seriously thet as these are basics.

Initially, we were given a room that still had a dirty bathroom. We were moved to a cleaner room but the second room had a toilet that kept backing up. One of the blankets in the second room also had stains on it or just wasn’t even clean. Couldn’t tell. Walking in the room turned my white socks BLACK so we had to just keep shoes or slippers on the whole time. The pool was pretty clean but was overfilled so the markings showing now feel it is were covered. One of the ladders was also very wobbly and loose going into the pool. The staff was extremely friendly but I can’t list their names because I don’t recall seeing any name tags. Overall, not a bad place. But for almost $200, it was NOT a good deal.

There was dirty underwear from a previous guest left behind in the bathroom, there was a hole in the bathtub that was poorly filled in, and there were dirty tissues under the lounge chair in the room. The floor did not feel like it was cleaned at all. Everything looked dated and in need of repairs or upgrades.

Pool area is small and you can REALLY hear loud guests from the suite overlooking the area. The suite was lovely. Spacious and you can never go wrong with the hot tub in the room! It's a 10 minute drive from downtown Port Huron so it was very convenient. Pay a little extra for the suite for your long romantic weekends. Totally worth it, and you can pay in four parts via Paypal.

Upon arrival, we waited 10 mins to be greeted. Then my friends were checked in along with myself and given room keys 6 different times and were unable to open their door at all, and since we had a wedding they had to share my room and rush to get ready and didn’t have time to retry a seventh time. When we arrived back at the hotel at 1am, they still were unable to get them a proper room key and had to be escorted to their room to be let in. The following morning at checkout, they were told nothing could be done because they booked through a third-party.

There was a hockey tournament going on locally and there were people staying at the hotel from that. They were up partying both Friday and Saturday night. Multiple calls to front desk went unanswered. Sounded like kids running up and down stairs and halls, Music playing, loud conversations until 3:00am.

Although the hotel was clean and the lady that checked is in was amazing, the rest of the stay was horrible. Children running the halls, playing hockey and adults drinking until well after midnight and then again very loud at 5:30 on the morning. One of our beds had a creak noise every time someone moved. We asked about it and were told there was nothing they could do. It was just the way the bed was. My kid ended up sleeping on the floor between the wall and bed. The breakfast staff was very ride. They ran out of forks and spoons, we were told the manager was going to get some. I asked if they could enlxyend breakfast just a few mins so those of us waiting for silverware could eat, the lady very sternly replied "no' with an eye roll and walked away. My children made do but the poor older lady seemed very upset and did not eat. I'm sure she didn't want to eat scrambled eggs or cereal with her bare hands. We were there for our daughters wedding and our stayed made it very stressful with little sleep.

Overall it was quiet - seemed to be better soundproofing than most places I've stayed. Also is a bit off the main road and freeway so that helped. My room was very clean. Overall a very good value.

Clean and well stocked room. Friendly staff and clean facility. Free hot breakfast with the basics. Pool looked nice and was used regularly, I didn’t use during my stay. Located in a secluded area, so no close options for food or restaurants. I recommend if staying in the area.

I stayed at this hotel for a week for a business trip. I liked the location of the hotel where it was right off of the highway and not far from Port Huron, Sarnia, and the northern edge of Detroit. The room was very clean, well appointed, and the price was excellent. I did not partake in the breakfast, but it looked fair. I stayed at this hotel for a week for a business trip. I liked the location of the hotel where it was right off of the highway and not far from Port Huron, Sarnia, and the northern edge of Detroit. The room was very clean, well appointed, and the price was excellent. I did not partake in the breakfast, but it looked fair. Hotel was clean, rooms had been updated. Love that there is no carpet in the rooms. Staff wrre friendle and helpfull. It was a but hard to find as its tucked back behind a storage place and the road is not lit at night. Overall would stay again.

The back doors coming into the building do not lock, any one can come in without a key. The bathrooms smell like urine. The breakfast in the morning did not have any bread of any kind at 7:00. Thankfully we only had to stay one night.

Although the hotel was clean and the lady that checked is in was amazing, the rest of the stay was horrible. Children running the halls, playing hockey and adults drinking until well after midnight and then again very loud at 5:30 on the morning. One of our beds had a creak noise every time someone moved. We asked about it and were told there was nothing they could do. It was just the way the bed was. My kid ended up sleeping on the floor between the wall and bed. The breakfast staff was very ride. They ran out of forks and spoons, we were told the manager was going to get some. I asked if they could enlxyend breakfast just a few mins so those of us waiting for silverware could eat, the lady very sternly replied "no' with an eye roll and walked away. My children made do but the poor older lady seemed very upset and did not eat. I'm sure she didn't want to eat scrambled eggs or cereal with her bare hands. We were there for our daughters wedding and our stayed made it very stressful with little sleep.

Have stayed before but disappointed this time. Hot tub was cemented over and gone but advertised on Expedia, pool was full of kids right up until 10pm - with no adult swim times and breakfast was out of coffee and toast with still an hour to go.

I reserved 2 rooms. Both rooms the beds were so broken down they were lumpy and have large dips in them. They clunk like their going to collapse when you sit on them. The TV didn't work in one of the rooms and in the other the desk chair was broken and unsafe to sit in. My elderly mother almost fell to the floor when she sat in it. I asked the manager to call me and still haven't heard anything. We got no sleep at all before attending a family wedding. Very disappointed.
