There were zero employees visible at this place! After reserving a non-smoking room on line, I went in to check into the hotel. They had a foreigner address me on an automated kiosk. It was at this time after waiting for him to discuss the fact with his “Supervisor” that I was informed they didn’t have a non-smoking room available. This is the only hotel in York, SC. Told him we just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. The room smelled like an ashtray! Bed spreads had burns on them. The pillows were like a ball stuffed into a pillow case. Hairs in the shower. I guess the good things were the bed wasn’t uncomfortable and the air conditioner was great after a hard days work. Will definitely not be going back!!! Will drive however many miles it is to another town!!! That’s twice for me staying there! My First and Last TIME!!!

Room was definitely very clean. The staff, friendly and very helpful, more like family than staff. I was very impressed by the shops nearby and the area. My concerns were that the furnishing could have been a little more homely.

The room was mostly clean, but housekeeping should pay more attention to things such as, molded shower heads ( we used two different rooms and both were the same, my husband cleaned them), questionable things on the bathroom walls, there should be no leftover hair in the tub. Beds were clean and comfortable and the atmosphere was pretty quiet. They use a kiosk to check in after a certain time.
