Room felt neglected, water damage in the bathroom, loose tiles. Pillows are only half pillows, the tv also did not work. Carpet is worn out and your room key stops working on the exterior doors the night before check out. Thankfully I don’t think we’ll have to stay there again.

Dog poop stayed on the ground near the check in front door the 3 days I stayed. The pool area was a mess and underlayment outside flew around, which someone could trip on.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean and in good shape. No complaints there. My only real complaints are, 1) The pool was green with mosquito lava swimming in it. 2) The back entrance didn't lock, which is a bit of a security concern for me. 3) We got to breakfast about 8:30am and there was almost nothing there. Practically everything there were dry-goods and I can't see any good reason it couldn't have been better stocked all the way to 9:00am.

Overall acceptable. Was there due to storm damage to my house. Pros: Cold A/C, friendly staff, fridge and microwave, lots of parking, quiet, comfortable bed Cons: Scratchy towels, no weekly rates or any discount at all for long term stays, room smelled of mildew, breakfast was bagels and muffins

The Inn was under renovation, but we probably wouldn't have stayed there knowing that? I think eventually I will be a nice quaint little Inn in Catalina. The positives were that it was in a great location, there's wonderful Mexican food just a little further down the street on the same side of the motel. It's a beautiful view of the catalinas and very quiet.

I had an incredible experience at the Catalina Inn! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. Both the lobby and the room had a smell, not a good one. We came to sleep and when we opened the door next morning a big cockroach left our room. Wouldn't recommend.

This property is in real need of attention. The room was reasonably clean except for the dust covers, they did not look clean. Carpets are old and worn, missing towel bar with holes in the wall. The door lock was not secure, door didn't close properly and so we used both the extra locks. Hallway carpets were rather dirty with dried mud. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Needs some TLC. Adequate for a night though.

We were very disappointed. As soon as we walked in we noticed there was dog food under a chair, and dead cockroaches. Later, we were laying on the bed watching tv and there was a cockroack crawling on my husband. When I walked in the bathroom there were more there. There were also some type of little flying bugs. The carpet outside the bathroom was also very wet. We were so disappointed.

The room was clean, but whatever they had cleaned with was so smelly we had to air it out. Several things in need of repair in the room.... the coffee maker was broken, the sink plug didn't work, and the toilet paper holders were out of whack. The hot food at breakfast was unrecognizable and selection was really slim, so we passed on eating there. But the bed was comfortable!

Super convenient to run the Tucson Marathon. However, the walls are very thin and I could hear conversations in the rooms on either side of mine. NOT loud conversations...just talking. Front desk staff very accommodating and let me arrange for late check out so I could come back and clean up after the run. I would stay here again but would recommend ear plugs and/or a noise machine.

The security lock was broken, no stopper in tub, slow draining sink, food on the carpet (almond and red m&m, which we didn't have). Everything else was ok. Actually better than expected, especially considering the price.

Catalina inn was amazing. Its outside of Tucson a bit but i was still able to meet up with my friend from Tucson. Daily housekeeping is great. They brought us fresh towels and removed trash. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Problem with my oxygen and and oxygen tank could not stay 4 nights. 50 minutes to check in ( at 2 o’clock) and we already paid Expedia. Would not work with Expedia on early check out. Check in person cussed and got mad and was rude. I stayed calm and nice. Would never stay there!! Always look at room before you pay!

We liked this hotel, however, it was not at all close to Mt Lemmon at all. We searched for a hotel close to the mountain and Google is incorrect. It was very disappointing because we drove a long way to see Mt Lemmon. I let the front desk attendant know and she said she did not know why it says that they are close because it’s an hour away. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave, so that was nice. It does have plenty of parking as well. We probably wouldn’t have stayed here if we knew it was so far away from what we went to do, but the hotel itself was good.
We liked this hotel, however, it was not at all close to Mt Lemmon at all. We searched for a hotel close to the mountain and Google is incorrect. It was very disappointing because we drove a long way to see Mt Lemmon. I let the front desk attendant know and she said she did not know why it says that they are close because it’s an hour away. Motel has an excellent view of the Catalina Mountains. It is located within a couple of miles of Oro Valley and Tangerine Road. Room was more than adequate and pretty clean. Good value for the money. I will return.

It was a very nice property. The only drawback was it was advertised as being in Tucson. In fact it is 1/2 hour from the edge of town and almost an hour to mid town. Had to cancel the rest of our stay there rather than have an almost two hour commute to town and back every day. Should not be advertised as "In Tucson"

The Catalina Inn is in Catalina AZ not in Tucson AZ. The carpets on the stairs and hallway needed cleaning. I could hear our neighbors at night. We looked for hotels in Tucson when booking and the Catalina Inn was listed. The price was reasonable, but the distance to Tucson was further than we thought when we booked the hotel. The Catalina Foothills are lovely. However our destination was Tucson.

Safe, clean, quiet. Don’t come for the breakfast, came down at 7am for the 6-9 am breakfast, and they were out of warm food. basically continental breakfast. Too many good food options in Tucson to worry about a big breakfast. Overall satisfied

The property is very dated but clean. The breakfast included was very poor. There was no coffee, no bread for toast, no fruit....etc. We had to flag someone down to get replenishment.....and again when those ran out.

The first morning there was breakfast aplenty. The next morning, had to ask to have coofee made by laundry lady, no hot items left, no milk for cereal, no bread for toast. Only 3 raisin bagels and a couple plain left. Not 1 person came to check on the breakfast room once! The tables were used and unckean after previous customers. Horrible service. The room was clean and bed pretty comfy, however!

The only thing that kept the amenities from getting a higher score is I had what is called an accessible room. That's a polite way of saying it's for the handicapped. What it needs is one of those shower nozzles on the end of a hose. Aside from that, I couldn't have been happier. It is without doubt one of the cleanest motels that I've stayed in in the last 15 years. A lot of motels in general have declined greatly over the years, but this one has not. From the outside. At night. It looks a little disinviting the way it's lit. But, the room itself was an absolute delight.

I have to say that hotel is one of the nicest places I have had the opportunity to visit in Tucson AZ area so if you want a little more in the way of rest and relaxation and you really don't need to be in the city, this is the place for you.
