Very comfortable country house, easy access to nearby airport - makes for a great "last night" place to stay, although we also used it as our jumping off point when we first arrived. Beautiful surrounding grounds - hedges, horse pastures. Comfortable, well-appointed furnishings, good food and bar - kudos to Jillian and Geraldine

The kitchen was closed but dining from the pub was a delightful simple meal experience. Everything fresh and homemade. Courtyard is charming. Rooms perfect and close to airport. A nice quiet stay.

The property is a country setting that is 12-15km away from any town or restaurant along a very narrow road off the main road. It is only 15 mins from Shannon Airport, easy to get to airport, and that’s quite nice. The restaurant was not open and we never accessed breakfast as we were sightseeing in nearby Limerick and left about 7:30am (2 mornings). Fresh towels were provided each day. Packets of instant coffee and hot chocolate, and tea bags provided with hot pot. The shower was hot and pleasant.. The tile floor is cracked, the bathroom door does not completely close, the light over sink does not work, and lamp at bedside is broken by the socket. Burn marks were on the dresser The bed was comfy, but furnishings were old and outdated. For seniors, the steep deck stairs to the room were not ideal, especially when wet and carrying luggage. We only saw staff one time upon registering. The original property has a long, interesting history, but needs maintenance to make it a destination country house for travelers. The connection to WiFi was not stable and unusable for the majority of the time there. It was not the country B&B experience we had expected. It was convenient for early morning departure through Shannon Airport.

Grea T place, food was outstanding both dinner And breakfast. Staff was very good room was very good. Most rooms are upstairs, so if you have a problem climbed, make sure you request a ground floor. Would definitely stay again Restaurant was a 5 star experience.

Really enjoyed my stay (4 days), nice and quiet. Although the main restaurant was only open on one night the buffet meals on offer in the bar were excellent including the desserts. Ample secure parking.

Such a beautiful country house in a gorgeous setting, with lovely rooms You are welcomed by a warm, friendly, and helpful staff. The food was wonderful! Just a great stay all around, and super convenient to Shannon airport.

We were just staying the night as flying out from Shannon very early in the morning. Lovely setting, Friendly host, nice little bar for a night cap, lovely room - we got a free upgrade and had a four poster bed- and a really comfortable bed. Everything was spotless - I’d highly recommend staying her

Nice, very friendly staff. Big room. Great shower. Free toiletries, hair dryer, tea coffee making facilities in room. Parking in front of property. 10 min drive from airport. Wifi did not reach our room in courtyard. Poor mobile reception too, so we had very little internet in room. Uncomfortable bed. Furniture quite worn out. No soundproofing. No mixer tap for wash basin. Very few plug points. No blackout curtains, there was so much light at 5 am!! We did not have breakfast, its EUR 15. We did not feel the stay was good value for money.

The accommodations were clean and quiet. The facility offers a light supper menu which was exceptionally good. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests while waiting for our evening meal. Drinks are available if desired.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were fantastic. They were cute, quaint and exceeded our expectations. It was off the beaten path but not to far. The grounds were beautiful, the food delicious and everything was so clean. The staff were friendly and made you feel at home. The shower I have to say was the best we have had on our trip. Both my husband and I wished we were staying a few more nights and when we come back to Ireland it will definitely be a place we stay again!

It was difficult to get to with one lane roads but it was charming with cows and ponies. Did not know breakfast was included so kind of a waste. There were spiders nesting in the pedistal sink. Basically no wifi except in a common area.

My husband and I wanted to experience a B&B on our recent trip to Ireland and after searching for locales along our planned route we landed on the Carrygerry Country House. The surrounding landscape was beautiful, and the home itself was wonderful as well. This however was not my husband's cup of tea as he prefers more downhome, low-key pubs and this particular venue was very much a proper country house with a reserved and cultured clientele. He also did not appreciate being so out and away from everything else. The facilities themselves were clean, and well maintained, and the staff and food were excellent! While we would not choose to go back simply because it's not our speed, if super quiet dinners at an out of the way locale are your thing, then you won't be disappointed. :-)

Beautiful house and property! Room extremely nice with lots of space. Gorgeous spacey bathroom with whirlpool tub. Very friendly staff. Nice common room to mingle with other guests while drinking cocktails.

This place is amazing! Comfortable, powerful, hot shower with a wand. The tile in the bathroom is so well done. The breakfast room has the most beautiful countryside view ever. The food is tremendous, and the host gracious! Not far from the Cliffs of Moher and the Kilkee Cliffs. Ennis is right around the corner for a nice evening out. Loved every minute!

The Carrygerry house was absolutely stunning from start to finish. Our room was beautiful and convenient. With it being 10 minutes away from Shannon Airport I would expect plane noise but there was none. It was a hidden gem in Shannon. The staff are genuine and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous and their bar area just beautiful . There were lovely drinks and then the supper menu was delicious as well. The dining room was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed this place immensely! I would recommend it to anyone! It was the perfect way to wind down at the end of our trip and to get to the airport for an early morning flight. 10 stars for this wonderful hotel and all who work there! They welcome you right from the moment you walk in.

This is a well kept place. Very nice. Beautiful grounds. I came a bit late and they were so forgiving. Breakfast was very nice too. This is a old manor house that been converted to a hotel. I loved it.

Very friendly, accommodating for request for bottom floor, delicious food. Lovely estate house. Beautiful setting in the country, but close to Shannon. Very efficient and warm, caring staff, Geraldine, and proprietor, Gillian. Great hospitality!

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carrygerry Country House. We specifically chose this location because check in is allowed late into the evening, there's free parking, and it's only a 10 minute drive to the airport. While it was very dark arriving at night, we had no issues checking in. We loved the old charm and found it interesting to read about it's history. The windows were open upon our arrival, so we had some mosquitoes in the room and bathroom. However, this is understandable for a location in the country. We had an early morning flight, but wished that we could have stayed longer because the breakfast sounded amazing.

Thursday was wonderful. We haven't greeted by the staff friendly manner and handled professionally. It was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again and recommended. It was pleasant. The rooms were excellent. Everything exceeded our expectations. The only reason we selected a for eco-friendly is I don't know what eco-friendly means. But I really can't find anything wrong with the stay. Usually there one or two things that stands out. In fact, the pleasantness and friendliness of the staff was remarkable. The coziness comfortable and quaintness of the room were so relaxing and so inviting.

There is not much to do around Shannon except the Bunratti Castle. This was an excellent, remote, quiet charming hotel. I would hesitate to book without a car @ public transit to/from is not convenient. If you have a car - it’s wonderful.

Wonderful walks nearby. It was our first night after arriving from America. We were delighted it was so close to the airport (though no plane noise and it felt like country/rural). And we were especially delighted that the place had a fabulous dining room where we had a superb dinner and tasty light breakfast. Highly recommend.

This property is in the countryside, far from everything but very near the airport, so perfect for your last night. The restaurant is excellent as is the service. The only issues were the very low water pressure in the room and the lovely vintage furniture in the sitting room that is very difficult to deal with when one has a bad back. Service is lovely.

The Carrygerry house was absolutely stunning from start to finish. Our room was beautiful and convenient. With it being 10 minutes away from Shannon Airport I would expect plane noise but there was none. It was a hidden gem in Shannon. The staff are genuine and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous and their bar area just beautiful . There were lovely drinks and then the supper menu was delicious as well. The dining room was absolutely beautiful. We arrived at around 2 pm and brunch was being served. We did not have reservations. The staff accommodated us and we waited in the bar with a delicious cocktail while our table was being prepared. The food was the best we had in Ireland so far and we ate a lot of wonderful food in Cong and Kilkenny. What a delicious treat. Hubby had 3 course I had 2 course. Hubby ordered the creamy seafood chowder the feathered beef served on mashed potatoes, came with fresh broccoli and carrots and I had chicken liver pate, roast of the day which was turkey on ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes served with crispy potato wedges, with a side of cranberry sauce. Yum!! We shared our first sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner. The prices are more than fair for a wonderful culinary experience. Our room had a view of the beautiful farmland with a horse or two. Very cozy and relaxing and we had no problem getting an Uber to the airport from there. This is the perfect place for your last night or even your first night in Ireland. I wanted to stay longer because it was so beautiful there. People were having fun eating with lots of laughter.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Open fire in the bar get everybody sitting together and talking. Food is excellent both breakfast and evening meals. As someone who requires gluten free food, everything was catered for-even a full gf Irish breakfast.

Great BnB in the country. The rooms were lovely as was the parlor where the bar was located. The food was spectacular as the co-owner of the Carrygerry is a chef. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Shannon area.

Grea T place, food was outstanding both dinner And breakfast. Staff was very good room was very good. Most rooms are upstairs, so if you have a problem climbed, make sure you request a ground floor. Would definitely stay again Restaurant was a 5 star experience.

Really enjoyed my stay (4 days), nice and quiet. Although the main restaurant was only open on one night the buffet meals on offer in the bar were excellent including the desserts. Ample secure parking.

We stayed two nights, top floor. As it was a hot two nights, a fan was necessary to keep the room temperature down. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Shower was a bit tricky to use (Tower Room). Staff was very helpful bringing our luggage up stairs and down when we departed. It's is a beautiful classic facility, but is showing age.

The country house was beyond our expectations! The family owned bed & breakfast was perfect for our family of 5. It is tucked away in the country side and our kids loved seeing the cows and mini horses. Jillian was so welcoming and accommodating, and dinner was amazing! Best food we have had in a very long time.
