We wanted a traditional Mykonian experience with a great sea view - and Anerousses gave us that. We stayed in Anastasia 1, a self-contained, private 2 bedroom flat on the 1st floor of the villa. The sea views were simply stunning. The comfortable master bedroom has two large windows facing the sea and a private balcony; the living room has French doors with a sea view. And the best views of all are from the private terrace, with an outdoor dining table under a shaded pergola and several chairs and loungers for sunbathing. We spent hours sitting out there. The Mykonian sea breeze always keeps it cool in the shade. Anerousses is on the northwest tip of the island near the beautiful Arministis lighthouse. This location is ideal for peace and quiet; away from the cruise ships yet just 10 minutes from Old Town. We rented a Fiat 500, perfect car for the narrow lanes and steep hills. The flat is perfect for self-catering with a full kitchen. There are several supermarkets within 10 minutes drive where we bought local fruit, honey, yogurt and vegetables. The villa also offers breakfast, lunch or dinner if you prefer. We had a home-cooked traditional Mykonian dinner feast served with local wine and a sunset sea view. The food was tasty and the service was outstanding. The staff are very friendly and generous people. Anna the owner took care of everything we needed, and we enjoyed chatting with her assistant Gregory who provided great recommendations. We plan to return!

This was just the most beautiful place! Such attention to detail. Anna and Ava (mother and daughter) are just WONDERFUL and could not do enough for us! I can not rate this highly enough! Just 5star!
