Blue Way Inn & Suites La Crosse

Besides the check in, the hotel did not seem like it was ready to have guests. Everything was in some sort of disrepair. As far as the room, the tv did not work and was dirty, the furniture was old and worn, the toilet was broken and there weren’t enough towels. The breakfast in the morning was the absolute minimum. Coffee, bread, frozen waffles, milk, minimal cereal and fruit.

The staff was unfriendly & unorganized. The room had missing light bulbs, an overflowing toilet, no hot water & no towels. The breakfast room was filthy. There was an extra large jar of peanut butter & large jar of jelly (both left out without there lids on) with one knife to use for both, cereal in dispenser containers that were not clean. A small cooler/refrigerator with an almost empty gallon of milk & 4 yogurts. Other than coffee & juice, that was all there was. The coffee “station” was disgusting. It hadn’t been cleaned or even wiped down in quite sometime.

Cheap, but smelt like cat urine. Was told we could get a new updated room but didn’t, I’m sure the renovations are nice.

note that this property was in the middle of a major renovation at the time of my stay. i was first given a non renovated room that had a non functioning heater and a non functioning tv, plus it recked of smoke despite being a no smoking room. changed room and got a renovated room which was nice, but unfinished, the frig spot and the microwave spot both empty, a desk but no chair and other. The wifi was also terrible service could never stay connected for more then 10 min. bottom line i would advice no one to book this place despite the very low price for at least 6 months after the date of this post....after 6 months i think it will be a very nice place, they opened way to soon. ps if you have kids they will be disappointed by the indoor pool and rec area closed off
