Perfect location for lake lure and chimney rock areas! Hosts were so warm and welcoming for guests, very responsive to needs. A great place to relax and unwind after a day of hiking and exploring. LOVED being able to paddle around the lake. Thank you so much!!

The cabin was great, though it could use a new mattress. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, though it needed glasses and silverware.The beautiful town of Lake Lure is struggling to recover from the hurricane. We checked with the town, and they did say there was 35% in parts of the lake. This being said, about 100 feet from the cabin would have been the lake. There was no water in the lake, and this particular location had several large earth-moving vehicles that were operating from 7 am to 5 pm.I have great compassion for Lake Lure and was glad we went to understand what they were actually going through.Vrob and the owner should have let us know the condition of this part of the lake. The photo on your site is very misleading.The photo attached is what was in front of our cabin.
