Sisanya - Port Douglas Luxury Retreat with Heated Pool & path to the beach!

Heather was very helpful in our booking and also our check in which was a bit later than expected flying into Cairns and car pick up delays. All lights and fans had been put on to see where we were going. A roomy house for 9 of us, 2 grandparents, two adults and their 5 children 7-17 were accommodated. The house is roomy and was well equipped as far as all crockery, glassware and cooking and kitchen needs. Nice quiet gated community with private access across the Rd onto Five Mile Beach. Not far to drive to areas nearby IGA, great Italian Pizzas good. Also nice to be out of the business of staying right in Pt Douglas in school holidays despite still close. Appreciated the mid week clean. We were out every day but the pool was used a lot. The 4 single beds we needed upstairs we misunderstood them to be Kingsingle beds as listed but are definately single size beds being a bit harder for tall older teenagers. But they can be put together no doubt to make a Queen bed if you do not require all the beds, but we did need separate. But as an 80th Birthday for myself and family we had a wonderful 8 days of doing so much Port Douglas and surrounging areas have to offer.

Overall great for our family. Could do with a little tlc around gardens. Kids lived the small pool area. Lovely open plan living.

Fabulous property in a great location. Everything you need. After travelling around during the days a joy to come back a relax in the pool.

We had a great time and loved the stay here at this house was absolutely beautiful. The kids loved the pool and can’t recommend it enough.

Great layout for large families. Great amenities, close to town and walking distance of beach and restaurants. One note for parents of young children is that there is no pool gate around the lower pool or pond so plan accordingly. Host was very easy to communicate with.
