La Joya Lodge Conference Centre and Spa

My place looks very exquisite. I had great time of my life plus it was my birthday weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful, attended to every need. The spa looks beautiful, well furnished, the ambience and great staff too. The food was delicious. No complaints

This was such a perfect get away. Booked for the weekend and felt sad when it was time to leave. The staff is amazing, very welcoming - from the questions I had before booking till my last day of the stay. The area is so tranquil, views are breathtaking. Unfortunately it was cold to the pool but I’m sure it would have been great as it looked. My favourite was the bar/lounge. Very cozy and intimate. My partner and I loved it, especially the pool table. Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be coming back🙂

It’s a beautiful place well maintained and clean. The rooms were clean and the bedding fresh. They had electricity issues the power was tripping on and off at night as a result our food was cold including our coffees. The tripping happening throughout the night including in the morning the following day. They did not have alternative power.

Stayed in beautiful luxury room with plunge pool. Great views, loved the roaming blesbok and warthogs. Very polite and friendly service by all staff but plan a wait when eating at restaurant, relaxed African time is probably good for us!

Wonderful property with peaceful surrounds, spacious design inside and out, and good amenties. However it is spoiled by an obvious management policy that's shoved in your face the minute you enter the property that you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol and if youy do, it will be confiscated if found. I mean really, it's extremely off putting and petty. Even worse their wine line list is ordinary - at least provide the choice to spend money to buy premium wine to enjoy with your dinner if you so choose. The attitude converyed by and extensive rules list of what is not allowed (no bluetooth speakers!) detracts from what is otherwise a beautiful environment and facilities is self defeating.
