Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Weston by IHG

The stay was great, but the hotel billing is a mess. This is the second year in a row that our debit card was charged twice for the stay due to “pre-authorization” and I was told it could take seven days to get the duplicate charge off of the card and the money back into our bank account. Fix this!

The room had a strong damp, musty smell that negatively affected our entire stay. We noticed it immediately upon entering and I asked to switch rooms, but the hotel was sold out so my request could not be accommodated. My son stayed in a room on a different floor and experienced the same issue, so it did not seem isolated to just one room. A dehumidifier may have helped, and it seems like one may be necessary to remove the excess moisture from the rooms. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not stay here again.

Best hotel breakdast i have ever had. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean. Friendly. Overall great stay. Marking it in my notes for future travels.
