The hotel was very clean, the owners/staff were very friendly. The pool with the slide was a huge hit with the kids. The beds were comfy. The shower had a rain shower head and water pressure and temperature was amazing. The buffet breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast. Food in the belly no complaints.

The pool is disgusting. Theres so much chlorine it was making every one cough and eyes burn.

The pool is in bad shape, almost fell using the hand rails, once it's completely busted just sitting there, concrete peices and dust all over pool, allot of dirt in pool, floating things, bandages, and cold, hot tub was ok, besides the jets, all jets are broken,, the water comes out of the sides of the openings, had mold on my window sill,. Staff very nice though

Checked in to a room with many things broken or inoperable. There was scotch tape holding up the dispensers in the shower, our phone had no cord, so was essentially for decoration. The top comforter on one bed was absolutely filthy, however I was charged for the cleaning of them. When I called to speak to a manager about the $75 charge, I was ignored and dismissed. The pool looks like the greatest attraction, but taking younger kids isn’t possible because it’s a free for all. There was about 15 unattended children at one point, with no rules being enforced. From check in to check out, HORRIBLE.

Friendly staff, good assortment of choices from breakfast: waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt and an abundance of coffee! Hot tub was hot and the pool was cool and clean.

They would not accomodate us to have adjoining rooms, even though hotel clearly not full. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Also, there is a gaming room with 24 hour slots, did not know about that. Somewhat disturbing people were there, in fact , one night 4 policemen there to arrest a man who was there gaming and bothering young women that were staying in hotel. Would not stay agian

We arrived a bit late, and were expecting to not be able to use the pool, but the manager was kind enough to leave it open a bit longer so my kids could have some fun. The pool was really fun for them, and I enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Overall a very good experience, and we were lucky enough to get a very low price.

We’ve stayed at this branch of hotels and this location several times due to its consistency. This time was different. The pool was packed and dirty. There were many people eating in the pool area and kids parties/family gatherings that were not observant of rules. Many of the kids were unsupervised on water slides and quite reckless. Just a different experience than we’ve previously experienced.

The bathroom was beyond disgusting. The seat had mold all over it. The drain wasnt atrached and the floor was dirty. When two men say the "bathroom is janky" its janky. I wouldnt even shower in it

This property is impeccably clean. Staff are friendly. Excellent value for a one night business stay.

This hotel has good ratings and reviews yet the quality of the rooms is very disappointing. The room is dirty, the windows and mirrors haven’t been cleaned, the picture frames in the room have some substance all over them, and the fridge was sticky and filthy.

Very dirty, you can tell they dont clean very often. Finger prints, dust, dirt and more. Pool is gross, the workers were dumping chemicals in with several kids and adults still into during the day. Lots of family's we were woth got a rash from the pool on there skin. Lots of traffic from people that are not even staying at the hotel. Never had towels for the pool area. Water in the main lobby soaking the carpet. Tv around the hotel not working. We will never stay here again or suggest it.

The room was very clean and updated. The staff were so kind and patient with my little boys and very responsive to a couple of needs. Beautiful lobby, fun pool, convenient location, nice breakfast. A great place to stay!

Bathroom was really dirty. Hair’s in shower, hairs on sink.

If want to be passive and give the location the benefit if the doubt given how courteous everyone was, but also feel honest is important to allow for change. My bathroom had minimal bathroom tissue, the sink and shower had previous guest’s hair (not just one or two strands). Thankfully I was alone as only two small, thin towels were provided. Very dirty mirror. Sheets didn’t stay on bed. Room not “reset” or “picked up”, ironing board left out and presumably used bath mat left hanging on shower rod (new one left folded on bath rail)

My main issue was the bathroom. The Dove soap was opened and had been used and was sitting on the sink counter. The box was on the counter too. The towels were all rumpled like they had been used or just thrown on the towel bars and racks next to the sink and above the toilet. Because of the soap and towel conditions it made me question that the bathroom had been cleaned. I chose to skip showering in the morning because of it and questioned the cleanliness of the rest if the room. That is not a good feeling. Bed was uncomfortable too. I've stayed at this hotel before and knew it was average for the cost but was very surprised at the condition of the room this time.

For the star rating and price, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was freshly remodeled and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Towels were plush and in good condition. The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were full size in the shower and actually filled (my pet peeve when I get in the shower and they have not been refilled by housekeeping). Wifi was excellent. The TV accomodated my Apple TV box (I always travel with one) - the included chromecast functionality did not work (this rarely works at hotels...annoying...). Breakfast met my expectations at this price point. Coffee was good and there were many flavor syrups/creamers if that is your thing. I stay in hotels of all different brands/star ratings about 40-50 nights a year. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep and perhaps work remotely, save yourself some $$ and stay here rather than the more expensive options in the area. All staff were friendly, but I will say that my check-in experience was a bit unprofessional. Perhaps a dress code for front desk staff. It was an offputting introduction to the hotel. It seems you are working hard to upgrade the facilities and the appearance of staff matters too. (I think that the young lady was training and perhaps this has already been rectified.)

Comfortable main bed. The pullout bed was horrible, felt like I was basically sleeping on the springs.

Need brighter lightning. Ac/heat was noisy. Enjoyed the evergreen smell in lobby.

Pool was great. My child enjoyed the slide, however there were no lights on in the pool area. Room was clean but the door to our room only opened half the time. The card worked but the door would get stuck. The coffee and water was never filled downstairs, especially during time outside of breakfast. The fire alarm also went off at 11:30pm one night. The fridge was super loud and the TV power button on the remote did not work.

Hotel was okay. Hallways were hot and stuffy. At least the air in the rooms worked well. Shower was only very hot water and TV volume did not work in our room. No drinking water available in lobby or breakfast area.

I selected this property as being one of the more affordable motel options in the area, while at the same time being part of the same chain I have stayed in happily enough many times in other locations. The location was OK, and convenient. The grounds appeared to be well maintained. The building was presentable. My room was OK, although the HVAC unit was noisier than I am used to. There were not enough AC outlets. None were available on the nightstand between the beds; I had to pull the nightstand away from the wall, and unplug the clock-radio in order to free-up an outlet for charging my phone. The small desk next to the TV was also not good in this regard. The entry area into the room had no lighting and was always quite dark; this is very unusual in my experience, since most 'typical American motel rooms' have a ceiling light as associated switch just inside the door. Both the sink and the shower had very low water pressure and/or flow, regardless of the time of day. Not much more than a trickle came out of the sink (so very slow filling up water glasses, etc; and barely enough flow to rinse off a toothbrush. The flow in the shower was usable, but not very satisfying. The tube drained very slowly, so the tub got about a third full during my morning shower (and yes, I checked the drain to make sure it was in the open position). Because of the low water flow/pressure, even the toilet tank took a long time to fill. The only elevator is at one end of the long building.

Great staff, nice pool and hot tub. Good selection at breakfast. Price was right. Comfortable beds. Starting to look a bit worn, and the roll out chair by desk is not safe for bigger people

The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was about average. The shade on the window didn’t block the light from outside so the room wasn't as dark as I like.

The rooms were musty, we switched rooms three times, the plumbing was leaking and the air conditioning fan was noisy. It is convenient to Weston hospital but is in need of attention to maintenance and housekeeping. Staff were very nice and allowed us to keep searching for a room that would work for us.

I felt like a dropin uninvited guest and we had a reservation. The staff was not friendly. The sheets were dirty and I asked for clean sheets to make the bed. My husband took a shower and there was no soap in the dispenser. There were only a couple of tissues in the box so had to go to office for more. The breakfast was minimal amounts in the containers . Lots of staff in the morning in office area but just socializing. This was a repeat visit for us to this hotel but will not return feel it has really gone downhill in last couple years.

Got a room with the jacuzzi and it didn't work... All the guy pretty much said was sucks to be you. I was in room 217. They do have the bones to be a great hotel for family pricing but unfortunately they fell very short this time. And complementary breakfast more like you want toast and milk. I think they had something warm in a dish but it was empty at 8 am so we didn't get to eat any even though breakfast was till 10

The front desk person was less than friendly at check-in, the parking lot was extremely icy, the front desk person at check-out never even looked up from his phone. Customer service is seriously lacking.

This is my 4th or 5th time at this hotel- absolutely love the staff! Everyone is so nice! Very clean!!! I will continue to come back 😁

Had a staycation with my family. The staff were very firendly and helpful and my kids enjoyed the stay especially spending time in the large pool with a slide. The rooms were clean and spacious however, the wifi in the rooms were we stayed were spotty but the manager on duty helped with identifying a good connection point and was ready to provide an ethernet cable; unfortunately, my laptop did not have a provision for that. We loved the breakfast and look forward to visiting again.

Good over all place. I was here for work. Raj made it easy to extend my stay if needed.

The cleaning lady literally opened the door at 10:21 and said its check out time, as the check out time was 11:00 am, my husband was in the bathroom. I told her he was in the bathroom and we would be out of the room shortly, we checked out at 10:45. Felt very rushed to get out.

There were no waste baskets in our room. Also, the TV did not work and when we called the front desk, they said they would send someone to our room. That person never did show up to fix our TV issue. Other that those two things, we had a very nice stay.

I arrived at the hotel and they were unable to find my reservation through Expedia. I contacted Expedia who then called the front desk and spoke with someone who got very irritated about the situation. I requested a refund from Expedia which I was given and booked a room at a different hotel. I understand things happen, but I was disappointed in the manner in which the hotel staff chose to handle it.

My husband and I stayed here for a visit with his mother, who is a resident at Rennes Health & Rehab. Everything was great, at a great price. The convenience to Rennes, dining at Chang's and Kwik Trip, plus proximity to Highway 29 cannot be beat. Would definitely stay here again.

The convenience of this hotel from the highway was great. It was also nice having a Kwik Trip very close, as well a restaurant was great. The outside door didn't always lock, but my room was always locked, sot that was good. The pool was great for my child, and the lobby and breakfast was very nice and helped make my stay more comfortable and convenient.

It was a perfect place to say while skiing nearby. We also liked that a great burger restaurant was right across the street.

Yeah the things that stood out was my room was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Even some of the places that were very close by were walkable distances!

The breakfast food was as expected. The carpet throughout was dirty and the stairs had vomit on them. Bed sheets had these brown specs(not sure what thats about) overall cleanliness was not satisfactory. Helpful staff. Good location and quiet.

I thought the breakfast could have been better. More selection as it was limited and not like it usually is at American Inn.

Eggs and sausage for breakfast was cold / partially frozen. milk in cartons didn't taste good. Pool was nice, lack of pool towels though. Bed was kinda hard for my liking. Our room had an odor Everytime we entered it.
