Farleton View is named after one of the peaks that are visible from the front of this detached property. On the ground floor is a boot room, great for discarding muddy clothes from a day of exploration. The living room and kitchen/dining room are on the first floor, and offer excellent views out onto the local surrounding area, whilst the bedrooms are a few steps higher and towards the rear of the property, looking out over the garden. Within a short drive you can be in the market town of Kendal and then on to Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy the Lake District National Park and all that it has to offer. Alternatively, in the opposite direction, head north to Hadrian's Wall country, with many Roman sites to visit. Journey a little south to the breathtaking Westmorland Dales National Park. Other places worth visiting include Arnside, Morecambe Bay and Kirkby Lonsdale. Beach 9½ miles. Shop 1¼ miles, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 2 miles.
