Mountain Home Inn

The Only downfall is it is a 2 story hotel with NO elevator ! We had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs .

No elevator so they had to put us on the 1 st floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Very clean, staff is nice and the area is good. The only thing is there is no elevator but the staff found us a room on the first floor so it worked out.

Room was clean. Had to carry belongings upstairs because there isn’t an elevator. Inconvenient as I had a broken arm.

Be aware that this hotel DOES NOT have an elevator, and there are a lot of stairs to reach the 2nd floor. Other than that it's very clean, has all the basics, and the staff is friendly. But if you have a lot of luggage or are older you might want to be certain your room is on the first floor.

The property was great! Room was great. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. This is a 5 stars place with the exception of no pool.

Not too far off the main freeway but far enough to be quiet. Really clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was good. There is a steakhouse and breakfast restaurant right next door if hotel breakfast is not your thing. Really enjoyed the stay. If stairs are a problem, be sure to submit special request for downstairs room as there are no available elevators.

We’re senior citizens. There is no elevator. Staff gave us 2nd floor room. We had to manhandle our luggage up the stairs. No assistance and no consideration to give us a ground floor room.

Yes the room was spotless and the staff was very nice. Will come back next tome we are traveling through.

Our room was very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. We parked right outside our room. Felt very safe with the key entry. Would highly recommend this location.

The room had nice touches, plenty of lighting along with outlets near the bed to charge devices with easily accessed light switches so you don’t have to get out of bed. Definitely recommend.

This may have been the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed In. I really dont know what else to say.

Hotel Review: The Mountain Inn I recently stayed at the Mountain Inn and wanted to share my experience—overall a mixed bag, but with standout positives worth noting. Lobby & Staff: From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The lobby is beautifully updated, clean, and tastefully decorated, giving off a cozy yet modern vibe. The real highlight here, though, is the staff. Every person I interacted with was genuinely friendly, but Guy, in particular stood out—so helpful, polite, and even added some humor to the check-in process. That kind of hospitality goes a long way after a long day of travel. Location: The location is very convenient—right off the highway, in a safe area with plenty of parking. For road trippers or anyone passing through, this is a perfect pit stop. Room Experience: The room was tidy and well-kept, but unfortunately, the soundproofing left a lot to be desired. I could hear TVs from neighboring rooms, and the phone vibrating in the room above was so loud, I genuinely thought it was my own. The bed creaked every time I turned over, enough to wake me up. The bathroom fan was extremely loud, and the fridge made bubbling noises that reminded me of a stomach after a heavy meal—not exactly soothing. To top it off, I was near the lobby, and the constant "ding" of the front doorbell with each guest arrival made sleep difficult. After a 10-hour drive, I was hoping for rest, but I didn’t fall asleep until after 1 a.m. Breakfast & Checkout: On a brighte

Beds were terrible. AC in rooms was very hard to balance. Rooms too small and dated. No usb ports for phones. No reading lamps. Refrigerator made noises all night.

Check in was fast and easy. Cade, the night employee was so helpful in recommending places to eat close by. Our room was so nice and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with a nice assortment of items to choose from. We will definitely stay here again.

I was not pleased with their service, they attempted to charge the incorrect card several times, then would not allow my wife to check in. Windows would not securely lock either. It was clean enough but when added with poor customer service interactions I would not choose to stay here again.

We got lost arriving and Erik, front desk staff, talked us through complex directions, with humor and patience. Upon arriving later than anticipated he directed us to a great restaurant that was still open. The room was quiet and clean. Lovely place that we would stay at again.

Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Thanks to Guy who gave us tips on where we should go for a meal in Mountain Home. We enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely stay here again if we get to come back for a visit.

Close to everything I was needing. Everyone was very friendly.

Very nice room. I was close to the end of the hall so I did have to listen to the door being opened and closed a lot but that was easily remedied with a white noise machine. Close to the highways and huge gas station.

Not the most convenient location. The restaurant we wanted was not where they said it was. Good enough value for a one night stay.

Convenient locstion off the freeway

Mountain Home Inn was a great stopover on our road trip. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Inn is conveniently located off the freeway and an excellent restaurant next door. We were comfortable and enjoyed our one night stay.

Room was better than I often see at this rate, a good value. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent, except the coffee. I would request a room not to close to the lobby as the doors to the staff areas seem to close loudly.

Everyone was friendly and efficient. Pet room was clean. Microwave, fridge, hairdryer, coffee pot, make up wipes, shampoo/conditioner in one, bath gel, lotion provided. Cons: bed sinks in when sitting, could use an upgrade. Breakfast had waffles..everything else was continental

The room was great but someone in another room near by had their TV on all night - ughh. Breakfast options were very slim. Only hot item was the waffles besides tea or coffee!
