We booked a stay here from 10/23-10/25. It was the only hotel available with an indoor pool for race weekend. Check-in was easy. After that we found out the pool was temporarily closed for the last 2 weeks. Too much chlorine. We get to out room. It looked fine and it was clean. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall by one screw. The biggest issue we found wasn't known until late at night on 10/24. When we returned to our room, we found that the door never truly locked. All we had to do was push it with a little force and it would pop open. Thankfully, no one ever broke in while we were gone. Had we known about the pool, we would've booked somewhere a little closer to Talladega or at least on the east side of Birmingham. I will also check the electronic on the door before assuming it works.

The front desk staff were all amazing, always cordial and helpful. Room was clean, nice. Only problem was there was no bedside clock, no big deal for me. A/C was very quiet, bathroom amenities were good. I would stay here again.

Disappointing stay at a "Hilton" property. Was not informed at check in that room service depends "on the length of the stay" or you have to request it. When I called asking for fresh towels, lady at reception said "I am the only person here so you will need to come down to get them". Also had an attitude when she had to go get the towels!!!. The Internet was HORRIBLE, at the room; so bad that everything you tried to play on the TV kept buffering. At checkout nobody at the lobby or front desk, instead a sign that said " somebody will be back soon". Are they under staffed trying to save a buck? Don't stay there if you expect Hilton property standards.
