Clayton Plaza has always been my place to stay the last four years my son was in college at WashU. It is close to the campus. You can walk to a few restaurants nearby. The staff are always nice and rooms are perfect for a short stay. I would definitely recommend

Excellent!

An event was occurring in the ballroom right above our room. It was after 9 pm and the room was bouncing and creaking with the dancing and hopping up and down, enough to feel like motion sickness. We requested to be moved and the staff person said they were fully booked, and was rude about the situation. I checked the website and discovered the staff lied and several rooms were available that night. We were moved to another room where the toilet was broken and the shower head didn’t work.
