Oceanfront Paradise avec piscine - Hector's House

The house was everything we could have wished for. It was very secure, and the access at the back down to the beach was fantastic for a stroll. The pool was wonderful. And the house was perfectly equipped. Although we were a little surprised by the chickens and cats that came strolling through the garden! By the end of the stay they all had names, haha. It was a lovely holiday.

We were a party of 5 adults and we had a truly wonderful stay at Hector's House in Barbados. We booked through Blue Sky Luxury who are based in Barbados. They were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend booking through them. A big thank you to the property manager who was always available and such a nice guy. The villa was spotless when we arrived and well looked after throughout. The pool was a highlight—sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and a perfect temperature. We spent lots of time relaxing outside on the sun beds and settees (bliss). The outdoor dining table was constantly used for family meals, playing games or just relaxing. The villa itself is very spacious and thoughtfully designed, with gorgeous sea views from the terraces and even a rooftop deck for sunset drinks. My husband and I had breakfast on our terrace every morning (what a beautiful start to our day). Everything we needed was there, and it felt like a real home away from home. The location is peaceful yet close enough to beaches and restaurants (Surfer's Bay is about a 3 minute walk away and has music every Saturday and Sunday). We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would return in a heartbeat!

After four trips to Barbados, this home stands out as a wonderful choice for our family. While the AC is only in the bedrooms, you can open the living area and kitchen to the breeze, and the kitchen’s pass-through window to the pool was perfect for chatting and serving while cooking. The house was spotless and comfortable, with gorgeous views. Housekeeping was a big plus, the beds were comfortable, and each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus a handy guest bathroom off the living area—so smart.When we mentioned the lack of AC in the living area, Damien was very understanding and provided options. We stayed, and they brought in fans and a portable unit, which made evenings comfortable. We visited in August, one of the hottest months, so it was warm at times, but we adjusted. The dishwasher wasn’t working, but with housekeeping it wasn’t a big issue.The location is excellent—close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and coffee shops—and we loved relaxing at home, swimming in the pool, and reading while enjoying the views. Highly recommend for families.

Hector's house was absolutely beautiful, just as the pictures show. Really loved how secluded and private it was, with all the plants and trees surrounding the house. Only a short drive to Oistins and Bridgetown. Would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the island!

Hector's House was everything we hoped for. Given how perfect it looked we were afraid we might be getting catfished. But it was everything we dreamed. It was super clean and well appointed and the pool could not have been more perfect. The literal only thing it suffers from is the lack of a grill. But given they can be messy and a fire hazard, I get it. I would go back again a million times over and in fact have started recruiting friends to do just that.
