Llanharry, just 1.5 miles away has two pubs and a church, whilst the town of Bridgend has a shopping village, and Cardiff is well worth visiting and has something for everyone. The village of Llanharry is situated close to the M4 motorway, between the town of Bridgend and the capital city of Cardiff. Llanharry has a church called St. Illtud, which was re-built in 1867-8, and two pubs, The Bear Inn, which was a school in the 19th century and The Fox and Hounds, known to date back to the Tudor times.
