Find all the shops and amenities you need here, as well as lovely tea rooms and pubs which make the perfect pit stops after an invigorating walk. Visit the Killhope Mining Museum in the nearby area, have a tour of the old mine with exhibits and displays on the local mining history, as well as wildlife hides to observe the rich activity here. Practice your swing at Alston Moor Golf Club, with 18 holes set across beautiful grounds. For some outdoor adventures travel around 25 miles to Talkin Tarn Country Park, where Talkin Adventures can offer exciting activities like canoeing, kayaking, raft building, as well as orienteering and axe throwing!
