With Liskeard nearby offering a selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways, as well as major supermarkets, you will have all you need on hand for your holiday essentials. For another great day out, park the car at the railway station in Liskeard and take the train on the beautiful branch line to Looe, where a day can be enjoyed on the beach and the narrow streets of this famous small fishing port. All in all, a perfect location for a great Cornish holiday. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 30 minutes by car.
