Hotel San Antonio

We booked a “deluxe sea facing room with balcony” but when we checked in, they put us in room 42, which doesn’t have a balcony. It did have panoramic views across the beaches, so in that sense it was an upgrade. However, in the course of our stay we glanced into other rooms in that block, and they were more recently decorated and quite modern, with warm tones. Our room was clinical white and black and grey, and felt quite 2004. The curtains were badly fitted, and the bedside light would not turn off at all. We ended up taking the bulb out. The air conditioning unit rattled so loudly that we had to fashion a repair with some bunched-up tissue paper. The only shower is over the bath, and the shower head wouldn’t stay at the top of the pole (kept sliding down to shoulder height). We complained two days running but nothing happened so we strapped a waterproof plaster around the top of the pole to stop it sliding down. In the end, maintenance did visit and simply put more tape around our plaster rather than just tightening the screw. The tv didn’t get any internet signal, therefore there was no tv at all. They fixed that after two/three days. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast but very poorly done. Not only was the orange juice not freshly squeezed, it wasn’t even out of a carton. It was orange squash (cordial). For what we paid per night (£260), I deeply resented paying the hotel an extra €13 a day for one umbrella to use on the hotel’s private beach.

Great property with great facilities. Location is good, quiet and away from the centre however this is easily accessible by bus or taxi. Not loads around the area but shops and a few restaurants. Beach is great although very disappointing that there is a charge for parasols as this is not stated in the booking or property details. Pool great and rooms great. Breakfast OK, could be more choice of cooked goods. Staff great - friendly and helpful

For the price it’s perfect, good breakfast, good service and good quality. Beautiful location with a private beach, good sunbeds.

Kjempebra hotell rett ved stranden, hyggelig personale og familievennlig. Vi hadde bestilt hotellrom med utsikt mot havet. Hotellrommet svarte absolutt til forventningene. Hotellet kunne passe på bagasjen etter utsjekk, det var kjempebra. God frokost og muligheter for strand bar. Hotellet tilbyr gratis solsenger og stranden er rett nedenfor hotellet.

Unique privat beach

Alt er godt ved hotellet ingen problemer. Fantastisk udsigt. God røræg ved morgenbordet. Lækker strand med perlegrussten. Lidt skarpe, men så undgår man sand alle vegne. Dog, for få strandstole. Mangler en udendørs pool.

Das Zimmer lag im Souterrain und roch entsprechend nach Keller, etwas kloakig und überlagert durch Putzmittel. Sehr beeindruckend ist der Innenpool im 4. OG mit direktem Blick auf´s Meer sowie Außenbalkon.

La spiaggia a disposizione è di certo un surplus, così come la piscina. Ambiente confortevole e piacevole.

We moved the pool and beach. All the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We went to the restaurant once and it felt like we were just an inconvenience to the wait staff. We asked them for ice in a wine bucket, it was like we were bothering them even though we needed to pay for this. The staff need some training in dealing with people. Very unfriendly and slow. We never ate there once. Instead had all our meals and drinks at the beach bar next door which was incredible. Great service, food and drinks.

Nice hotel, good location at the beach. Bus 60 will take you into town in 25 minutes.

Really enjoyed my 3 night stay in room 24 which had an amazing sea view, room was very comfortable & clean. A great selection for breakfast which included a hot choice. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Amazing view and location, great service, the rooms were very clean and spacious. The options to go to the center of Split should be improved, as there was only one road to get to the center and back, and traffic jams were frequent (depending on the time of day).

Fornøyd med: Hotellets beliggenheten og frokosten buffeten er bra men her er mye som ikke er av 4 stjernes kvalitet. Misfornøyd med: Leilighet / balkong,Bestilte balkong m havs-utsikt, fikk balkong hvor en betongvegg dekket halve balkongen og "skygget" for halve utsikten. Resepsjonist lørdag kveld sa at vi kunne få bytte leilighet neste dag. Søndag formiddag var ikke han som satt i resepsjonen like forståelsesfull. Han ble med oss opp i leiligheten, lente seg utover rekkverket og sa at her er det ikke noe i veien med havs-utsikten og at han ikke skjønte hva som var problemet vårt for deretter å gå uten å si noe mer. Vi opplevde vedkommende som sur og lite forståelsesfull. Senere på dagen fikk vi tilbud om å bytte rom og det valgte vi å takke ja til. Opplevde de andre som jobbet i resepsjonen som svært hyggelige og serviceinnstilte. Utstyr : Defekt stol på terrassen og løst blandebatteri på badet ble ikke utbedret ilp av de dagen vi bodde der. Renholdet: Renholdet av rom og fellesområder var dårlig. Gammel skitt ble liggende i flere dager, boss i området hvor solstolene står ble ikke fjernet. sigarettsneiper og bruskorker mm. Dusjveggene i glass på badet levde sitt eget liv, mye søl på gulv. Prising av solparasoll fant vi merkelig. På et 4 stjernes hotell bør dette være et minimum, 100 pr uke kunne vi forstått. Litt lengre borte på stranden fikk en 2 solstoler og parasoll for 120 kona, offentlig strand. Dette er ikke 4 stjernes standard slik vi kjenner den i Kroatia.

Flott plassering på hotellet, helt nærme sjøen. Positivt at solsenger var inkludert for hotellets gjester. Vi hadde hotellrom i «annekset». Hotellrommet var lite, men fungerer bra. Det var tjukt gulvteppe, dette likte ikke vi så godt, da vi opplevde at det ikke var skikkelig rengjort. Helhetlig er vi fornøyd med hotellet, og spesielt hvor nærme sjøen det er, og det ikke langt unna bl.a. Spilt sentrum.

Det här stället försökte ta massa dolda avgifter, det var stopp i avloppet i badkaret så duschade man längre än 2 minuter stod man i vatten upp till vaderna. Det låg skräp kvar från tidigare gäster under sängen, kylskåpet var kladdigt och husets allmänskick var ganska risigt. Vi gick aldrig ens till gymmet och poolen utan betalade in oss på närliggande hotell för att kunna duscha och träna. Vi testade också deras restaurang och även där blev vi besvikna.

Det som var positivt var att vi hade ett fint hav precis framför hotellet, bredvid fanns även strand vatten. Man hade gratis parkering också. Städningen är under all kritik, hela hotellet är smutsigt. Rummen städades knappt, de gav ut smutsiga handdukar och lakan. Även om vi tog de dyraste rummet var den i dåligt skick. Personalen som jobbade hade hemsk attityd och service. De som stod i receptionen var dock trevliga. Frukosten är ett skämt, fanns typ 4 alternativ som serverades varje dag. Rekommenderar inte!

The property was okay, quiet at nights. Good breakfast. No facilities for making tea/coffee in the room.

The property has an amazing view and location. Parking is limited and our room was not accurately depicted on the website. The room I booked was supposed to be bright, beautiful, modern and king size bed. What we got was dark, dated and two side by side twin mattresses. The view made our stay worth it and the free breakfast was nice. Perhaps the room pictures should be updated so they are an accurate reflection of what you are booking? Gorgeous area and we enjoyed walking the promenade. Very kind staff.

HORRIBLE. Nous sommes arrivés en famille. Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un sous sol, l’ascenseur était petit et surtout défectueux, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et il faisait 35 degrés en juillet, impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre à cause des moustiques, le téléviseur ne marchait pas, le frigo bar posé à même le sol était chaud impossible de mettre de l'eau pour nous rafraichir. Divers trous dans la salle de bain qui ne fournissait que de l’eau tiède. Nous nous sommes demandés à quoi correspondait les 4 étoiles. Si vous souhaitez accéder à la mer il faut payer en plus. Bref il était tard et dans ces conditions nous ne pouvions pas dormir dans ce lieu. Nous avons demandés à avoir une autre chambre ou a être remboursé. Ils n'avaient pas d'autre endroit pour nous loger et il ne voulait pas nous rembourser. Et ne souhaitez pas faire les travaux avant le lendemain matin. Ils ne nous attendaient pas comme doivent le faire les vrais hôtel. La dame qui était a l'accueil n'a pas était aimable, elle n'a absolument pas voulu tenir compte de nos remarques. En urgence nous avons trouvé un autre hôtel correspondant à de vraies critères de qualité et de standing attendu pour leur nombre d’étoiles. Heureuses il y avait de la place. Nous déconseillons vivement ce lieu.

They gave us a great big room with a real sea view and a jacuzzi tub.

The room hotel was very spacious and with good vies overlooking the sea. The bathroom is nice and big. The bed and pillow is very comfortable. The staff are very nice.

Area is very good but hotel needs renovation complained about bar fridge not working in room and never got fixed, also carpet rugs placed on floor covering damage and asked for shower to be fixed and it went not repaired all week

Nothing was too much for the staff. Our room was amazing. The only thing I would have like was tea and coffee making facilities in the room

Hotellet är lite utdaterat, det har varit fina rum som tyvärr är fd rökarrum. Magisk utsikt mot havet, och stort rum. Dubbelhandfat i badrummet vilket är toppen när man är två. Men det saknades glas, lite trasigt som t ex en av spolknapparna på toaletten, en del på duschen, solstolen på balkongen och slitet överlag. Personalen är trött redan i juni. Kan dock rekommenderas varmt tack vare fantastiskt läge. Frukosten bättre än vad vi förväntade oss när vi läste andra recensioner. De hade vunnit mycket på att lägga in mer noggrannhet och kärlek i sitt hotell. Älskade den egna udden med solstolar, bad och dryck på beställning.

Das Zimmer hatte soweit alles was man brauchte. Es waren jedoch einige sichtbare Mängel, gerade im Bad erkennbar. Auch hat der Safe nicht funktioniert und wurde während des Aufenthaltes auch nicht repariert. Das Essen war ausreichend und die Auswahl war ok. Besonders toll war hier das Restaurant, in dem man super gutes Essen kann.

Séjour parfait. Le restaurant est super bien et les plats sont excellents. Personnel très sympathique

Personnel pas du tout chaleureux et pas du tout indulgent, manque cruellement de chaleur humaine et d’empathie. Chambre et petit déjeuner très médiocre. Seul gros point positif, la plage privée et le restaurant donnant sur la plage.

Sauber, nette Leute, direkt am Strandt. Tolle Lage. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Es lohnt sich vorbei zu schauen;) nächstes Jahr sin d wir wieder da

Bel emplacement pour cet hôtel qui donne sur une jolie plage mais personnel pas très chaleureux et petit déjeuner vraiment décevant avec peu de choix et buffet très médiocre.

Lovely hotel and beautiful setting. Food (Fish in particular) was amazing, great service during the day out on the beach. Lovely views during the day and sun set was unreal. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, there were none that we didn't like. Traffic into Split was busy but not unmanageable. Just allow extra time. Only issue we had was requested an iron, each time was told they will come back to us... they never did. Then eventually was told there wasn't one for us to borrow. Not a massive deal and didn't ruin the stay at all. I would recommend this hotel.

„Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel war insgesamt sehr angenehm und der Service war gut. Die Lage war sehr schön, besonders der Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück war ok, könnte aber noch etwas verbessert werden – insbesondere sollten das Gemüse und das Obst frischer sein.“
