A visit to the Bowes Museum is a must but make sure you get there in time to see the Silver Swan in action. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is easily accessible by car as are the popular market towns of Richmond and Ripon, the Northern Dales town of Reeth, the city of Durham, and even the Lake District.
