Great location - close to Salisbury but rural. Cottage was very convenient and well-equipped with pretty much everything you might need. Next door to farm shop, 2 minutes from M&S garage, private sunny terrace leading straight onto an enclosed walled garden and then to a river walk - beautiful surroundings with swans and cygnets on the river and 15 minutes from amazing New Forest walks.

We stayed a few days to be near Stonehenge and we are glad we choose this place. It had nice grounds to do walking and it has a lot of horses. We also took the chance to do some BBQ because they had one outside, and it was delicious.

The Old Stables was a very convenient place to stay to venture out from into the local area and beyond. The accommodation was neatly presented and had everything we needed for the week.
